The markets in the Western World are a complete 5HIT SHOW. They are run by crustaceans that are far below the level of POND SCUM,they need to look a long way up to even get near that level
What purpose to short sellers,hedge funds etc fulfill,absolutely none IMO
They will tout that they keep markets in check and offer price discovery,BO11OX
They set about companies spouting nefarious BU115HIT through paid for media to push stocks whocever way they want them to go in a constant attempt to pump dump rinse and repeat
From IPO to the Grave suits them perfectly,Stunts
Let’s look at shorting,each borrowed share doubles the float,so supply and demand went straight out of the window! You borrow a share(maybe my share)dump it in the market and it’s bought,therefore I still own my share and now so does somebody else(that’s 1 share becomes 2) This goes on and on creating millions of shares that don’t exist!
The reported short sales are simply that (self reported BO11OX) the real numbers are never known because the Anchor Brigade (City) can’t actually mark sales correctly,shorts marked as long etc,just mistakes er they make er,oh yeh,sure
So how many shares float around in any particular company,who the “F” actually knows but if you think it’s anywhere near the registered number then you need to start reading Disney Books
The mention of price discovery to create fair markets is total utter garbage,the system is designed to create synthetic money for the ANCHOR brigade that don’t know any other way to earn a real living
They constantly break every rule in the book because the FCA,SEC etc are the most useless and corrupt bags of 5hit God ever gave breath to! Fines snout to fractions of the gains made using foul and corrupt practices or in many cases they just get away with it over and over again

A better form of retribution would be to let investors have 5 minutes in a small room with these constant law breakers

Use the same Laws that the Chinese use for corrupt bankers,generally they don’t repeat offend,it’s difficult with a several bullets stuck in your head after facing a firing squad
Yet in the west we just repeat the offences day in day out stealing the value from pension funds and private investors
