It's the cheapest and best value miner on the LSE IMHO. There is possible exploration upside which is not priced in. Declining resource is priced in so room for positive surprises.

I suspect negative read through for MTL of weekend events to be short lived and this weakness a buying opportunity.

Is there one poster on here who is speculating and sounds rather repetitive in wanting to convince all and sundry that there is a problem with a mining licence and posts this concern repeatedly?

The business should be doing better.........surveillance is a growth industry but perhaps not oil and gas and casinos.

If it's any consolation the main action in gold shares today seems to be in blue chips. Has been a lot of negativity about the gold price like Economist saying it's gonna drop. Probably best to not add now and rather hold tight to what you have. I have added in previous pull backs but don't want to increase in case shares continue down in short term. As we have seen bad whether can affect the share price. I think this will be a lot higher in a years' time but could be a white knuckle ride if too large a position. Having said that if I did not have a full position I would be tempted to add at these levels.

Buy out price?

I dont expect much progress here short term. Directors know best.

Hargreaves Services is directly involved with Tungsten West as the principal mining contractor at the Hemerdon Mine in Devon, UK. Hargreaves holds an exclusive Mining Services Agreement with Tungsten West, under which mining operations at Hemerdon will be fully outsourced to Hargreaves if and when mining restarts. The contract spans a ten-year period, with Hargreaves’ mining fleet scheduled to handle over 100 million tonnes of granite ore and overburden, and primary crush over 30 million tonnes of granite ore. The commencement of full mining services is contingent upon Tungsten West securing the necessary project funding. Hargreaves has already received significant payments under the agreement and maintains a strong contractual position, ready to start work as soon as further funding is in place for Tungsten West’s restart of mining operations.​

Perplexity view of Carclo:

On share valuation, Carclo appears undervalued based on financial metrics: it has a low price-to-earnings ratio (negative due to losses but lower than sector average), a price-to-book ratio much higher than peers which might indicate investor caution, and a price-to-sales ratio significantly below the sector average. Analysts suggest a fair value upside of around 35%, implying the shares could have substantial potential if operational improvements and growth strategies succeed. An investor commentary mentioned that a strategic move into drone-related markets could dramatically increase Carclo's market cap.

In summary:

Carclo manufactures precision plastic components mainly for life sciences and aerospace.

They have potential capabilities to enter drone manufacturing but no confirmed current involvement.

Financially, the shares are considered undervalued relative to some peers and have significant upside potential if growth initiatives succeed.

The company owns 9000 acres of land. Why not build some data centres? Why not mine rare earths which probably not far from the surface.

If there was more creativity from management we would really see a lift off here.
