Probably the takeover lot buying cheaply in the market. I sold put at £1.15 - probably not worth hanging around for many months for an extra 3p although maybe a dividend will be added as a sweetener.

Seems very cheap at £1.18

It’s more like a 5% spread if you look at the difference between buying trades and sell trades.

Could the 4p drop be the falling gold price?

A mistake to Ebitda which is a theoretical concept rather than cash at the bank or cash for a share buy back the implications are surely somewhat marginal.

Better levels for the buy back?

It adds up to about 4% of the free float. They are being bought at a great price IMHO.

Share buy back for 1 million shares should mean the downtrend is over. The co directors sense this is a bargain basement price with a yield above 7% and expanding operations.
