Can anyone explain why there are 8 Trades not being shown in the 48 Trades made today?

Think Trump would be making a massive mistake - US relies very heavily on Chinese manufactured drugs. But all in all I think there are potential dangers in any licenses with either country.

Celtic - it does seem that SDC-01 does fit the Bill - and can be delivered orally. But I cannot see what the delay in getting the grant is, if it fits all the criteria. Sareum always seems to be behind the pace. I will be very disappointed if we do not have a Grant acceptance by the end of the week.

The more I think about this the more I‘m getting excited about next week. Pharmaceutical share prices are rising in the light of growing opportunities. They will be desperately looking for new molecules to Commence research into better treatments for Viruses, immunotherapy conditions and cancers. Covid19 has been terrible but it has kick started this new opportunity for pharmas and they will now be moving far more quickly to snap up available molecules that demonstrate potential in treating a range of conditions. I’m hoping that the large delayed buys at close last Thursday are the first of many as investors look for bargains. I can see us finally breaking 1p and moving on. And if Sareum make any announcement then we will really take off.
But there again I’m usually wrong!

Thoth - if you think a big pharma would take this forward re Covid 19 wouldn’t it be likely that that Pharma was also in the Non Disclosure arrangement with Sareum - if there is an NDA in place?

Also doesn’t the range of molecules in the Skill Platform point more to a full buyout given Pharmas are suppose to be going into a golden era of growth ( re Daily Telegraph article)?

Working pharma - thanks. The more that Email CRUK the better. It may at least alert NG that there is big concerns about this- even if he doesn’t care it can filter out into the wider community.

Anyhow SRA737 is a sideshow for now, albeit a big one. Next week is all about SDC-01 and the Covid grant approval. The science fits perfectly so let’s hope Sareum have got everything in place to move quickly to trials. GLA

It might work with Tim but think it will take more than that to get anything out of NG. Might it be better to complain to CRUK - who may well ask it’s contracting arm to respond? Just a thought.

I guess the question is does the agreed clinical development plan mean just CHK1 mono therapy and CHK1 in combination with Gemcitabane or does it also encompasses new findings along the clinical road, such a those re SCLC which was discovered after the contract agreement was signed off. Do you know if there is any mention elsewhere in the contract of what happens in this scenario? I would expect this potential new approach to CHK1 in combo to be covered somewhere?

Nice explanation of the science Fadec. As you say a combo trial is going to be very expensive and always beyond what Sierra can do on its own. The question is do they sell it or do they get partners like Gilliad and other Pharmas signed up in a Partnership. But Sierra will only be able to contribute if and when there mylofibrosis drug gets to market which is not likely for at least two years. What does NG do? Hope it’s not delay as long as he can get away with it.

Exactly. But NG has still managed to load the company’s shareholding with big institutions and Gilliad. That tells a storey. They are not signed up for Momly thing only. They will certainly be letting N G know what their expectations are and if this drags on they may start to jump ship. So hopefully we may not have to wait too long. But with NG in control you never know.

I seem to remember that Christien Hassig, Sierras Chief Scientific Officer signed up to the paper by the M D Anderson Centre in July 2019 supporting the view that SRA 737 could be an effective treatment for SCLC in combo. He is on the Sierra Board as far as I know. So what’s the hold up - funding that Sierra has not got at the moment but they are desperate to keep a stake in it.

Sierra has not got the funds to bankroll another SRA737 trial on Small Cell Lung Cancer so NG will either be looking to recover his existing trial costs and make a nice profit by selling it on, presumably to Gilead. Or, alternatively, he may be tempted to work in Partnership with Gilead on any new trial especially if he now knows how good the Small Cell Lung Cancer Combo is (Read into that what you will)- and the enormous profits this would bring in future revenues. That may be the plan he has sold to the institutions and Gilead but who knows - it’s just a a guess. Have a good weekend all - looking forward to Monday, especially after those big delayed buys.

Yes, he’s a neerdowell but all the shareholding institutions and Gilead know what the plan is. They’re just not telling anyone else at the moment. Don’t expect to see SRA 737 results soon now. He also changed the company’s litigation processes recently to make it easier for defendants to get a better deal. Something smells.

Wasn’t expecting anything different from NG. It is a quarterly report. It states correctly that Sierra have decided to put SRA 737 on hold. That does not rule out a sale or partnership agreement for SRA 737 from any time now. The dramatic findings regarding the effectiveness of SRA 737 in combination for the treatment of Small Cell Lung Cancer and potentially a further range of Cancers is too big and costly for Sierra to take forward. Taking this forward will require mega bucks and Gilead knows this. So still all to play for.
