Kroc - re JKX & YGE makes no difference now, as they're selling off Russian assets.
How do you know from ENW drilling we wont hit larger numbers than 1-1.5k boepd? SC is a new field and why not more from development wells.
Are you finished investing in JKX? if so why have you gone off it and stayed with ENW? Just interested in your thoughts.
Riddle - you couldnt be further from the truth. I've been in and out of JKX and ENW for past 3.5 years, got in low and also got spiked and had to wait but averaged down at 16p-20p, and made plenty of profits on the way up. Dont worry about me mate, I'm doing fine! But yes there is a lot of negative comments on LSE BB. What I've said is all fact, its a shame no one does any proper research into the shareholders - Eclairs. I like JKX but there are negatives to this company that arent aired on this forum or twitter. Why is JKX down -3% today and ENW up 6%? same juristriction and both gas co's.
Tom - why dont you google "Kolomoisky Privat Bank". You really think Ukraine govt will pay JKX the £12m its claiming in the courts thats been on-going for years!!! ENW 'suspended oil field' is just political, they are and have been producing from it since the unfounded allegation. Last results werent underwhelming as the free cash went into the drilling, yes high cap ex because they have 4 wells being worked on. You cant get gas out the ground without drilling! JKX has declining fields hence reason to off load Russian wells that brings in little cash as prices are fixed. They'll be spending big bucks on capex soon enough! I've been in both jkx and enw. ENW doesnt get traded as much as JKX with 10% flippers.
$12million
Nice to see we're back in the 40p's. I prefer this to JKX personally. No one on JKX talk about risk with Eclairs biggest shareholder with its billionaire owner Kolomoisky owing $2bn fromPrivat Bank fiasco to Ukrain govt and dont see why govt will pay JKX the $12 it is is chasing through the courts.
Hopefully the latest drilling will double our output from 5k tp 10k boepd by H2 2022.
I've lost confidence in this one, I see loads of tweets and messages aboout how great cash build is, and it is good but there are too many traders out there looking for a quick 10-15%. Price goes from 46-50p sells off, then 54p sells off back to 49/50p.
No one mentioning the biggerst holders Eclairs with 28% holding because no one does any research. The main guy owes Ukrainian govt $2bn over corrupt Privat bank. No way will Ukrainian govt give JKX the £12m its is in a legal battle for.
Personally feel ENW Enwell which is Ukrainian has 100% exposure to rising gas prices (unlike JKX only has 40%) is a better gas company also has $65m in bank, no debt, no legal cases.
If RNS was so great and certain parts were, why were there so many large sells? And overall MORE sells than buys? 680k v 800k, think those with big money know better or something has spooked them.
I agree update in October and could well be end of month, expect good numbers purely because its the first time they've been producing concentrate and selling it to the offtaker/market and generating cash, just hope the output numbers are decent. I can see a massive rerate in share price leading into mid-November and 15p-17p feasible by end of November/December. We all need to ramp this on twitter when the RNS lands and sp will rise if we get the herd on board like 2 years ago when diamonds were hot topic and sp went from 0.1 to 0.5 in matter of days.
Does anyone know whether the shares held by SVS securities (ex broker) and its clients have been released or sold back on the market. Its been a long while and I lost touch with the news. I know couple of vast known holders had accounts with SVS - Lee Morris and I think Chris Ringham.
Max - rubbish placing at 3p (no price was mentioned by TW). Normally there is a 30% reduction to current sp, so if we take 6.5p then; - 1.8p = 4.7p approx and most of the time its 10-15% discount to sp so could be 5.5p unless we spike first to 8p and place at 6.5p. I'm sure AP has jam news lined up so expect some sort of sp spike short term. Yes AP said no need to placing/raise for BP but he didnt say a raise for working capital which is not directly related to BP but general operations.
Sandy - i agree with you. I try to be positive and frank about the company and put out a positive post a couple of weeks ago, got no reaction at all. I dont write much here as I dont see much point, like you say there is no decent debate, just pi's constantly bashing the company mainly, and pointless quick messages that drop down any good conversations. I know where I stand with the company and my own position holding shares, yes theres risk (as in every company) but feel reward could be good if they get it right this time. Need to see some good numbers coming out from the sales of concentrate. I generally trade this company as holding long term has taught me its too painful, and I have done well trading it over the past years.
We all know the history of Vast and AP, RT, BM not being able to run a company, BUT it is clear (to me) that they now want to create value out of this company so they can make money on their shares which was bought at 0.17p/17p. Yes they've taken the **** with awarding themselves free shares (SARS) whilst still taking fat salaries whilst the sp falls...but we cant do much about it. Dont see how we could get any majority votes at an AGM when they are holding the majority. IMO its all about joining them at their own game. We know their entry price and even exit price to some extent, so why not play the same game, I've bought sub 8p and will be selling at 17p thats 100% from here, we all know the sp can rise on 'nothing' so I dont see much risk at these levels - yes a placing could happen but the sp will drop short term by 1-2p and then quickly recover. The manag't didnt want to mention about production numbers in todays RNS because it was not relevant to the RNS and they want to 'save it' and really milk the news when it lands to launch the sp back into the teens or higher. Then the herd will arrive again like it did on the diamond news that never materialised. I'm not holding long-term unless the production numbers look really good, if they get their act together and actually manage to monetarise BP then there's more jam with other Romainian assets and sp can genuinely go to 50p+ in 2022/2023. I dont see any point with the continuous *****ing on this BB, it only puts off any newbie investors. Yes many s/h are down on their position but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Now is the time to load up - just like the directors today, unfortunately we have to pay for our shares but thats investing in sh*tty aim companies for you! GL.
Forget the diamonds. Was never truly on the table IMO, but if it was then they got messed about by the Zim govt and used it to jam/BS the shareholders for placings. Dont get your hopes up, I dont expect anything diamond related until we see the first monetary sale of diamonds even if we sign JV. Meanwhile its all about Romania - they have several mines there so it really is all to play for now.
Sandy - Me too, went to the AGM/EGM 2017. We both agree with each other re Roy & AP & Brian, but unfortunately we are stuck with them (and I dont have the energy like Lee Morris did to oust the incumbent CEO, although he was rewarded by AP after gaining enough votes to get him in as CEO and then to ramp the company sp, he was on the VAST payroll - I know this as a FACT!)
You gave AP 3 years but you too had the opportunity to get out when the sp went from 0.11 to 0.53 (sept 2019) 400% rise that you're waiting again for now but I feel you missed out then, I know its still a long rocky road ahead but if you dont avg down at these levels (or lower) you'll still be a VAST shareholder talking on the LSE asylum in 3 years time. I agree with you, VAST has massive potential if it gets it right. With the other Romanian mines and Blueberry IPO I genuinely think the sp will be significantly much higher in 2023 (2p), but that is caveated with the usual ifs & buts etc. GL Sandy.
Sandy - Everyone goes on about AP yes he's the CEO but he's not the only one running this POS company. I've read (from the annual reports) some shabby dealings between Roy Tucker and AP. Roy Tucker (exFinance director/business director) might be in his mid-80s now but he's been the silent assassin to the share price and lifestyle. AP is no saint, by far!!! But as 90% of (Vast) private investors dont research the company or attend AGMs, they jump on the AP bandwagon.
Here's a free tip: Keep any eye on any future RNS of Roy Tucker retiring as he'll be selling his shares that he received together with AP under APMining when VAST (themselves+shareholders) bought the remaining allocation! RNS stated directors were locked in for 12 months (Nov'20) or until the director leaves or retires.
And this also answers a previous question 'why we didnt hear why the banks didnt want to loan VAST the money?' It was all too dodgy having directors of VAST also being directors of other ownership of same mines. (APMining) - conflict of interest.
All IMHO.
ben - its always been a punt/pure gamble - thats the point! Look at may-sept 2019 - sp hit rock bottom 0.11p and with diamond news/jam/BS it rocketed up to 0.5p (500%) so if you were a LTH from the 0.6p days and didnt avg down whilst at 0.11-13p then IMO you're a fool as that was a fantastic opportunity to buy and make money on the way up.
This time its hit 0.08p 30% lower than before! Same logic applies there's a trade there, if you take the plunge. Of course theres risk and AP at the helm, but Roy Tucker & Brian Moritz are much to blame as AP, Roy Tucker should really get a lot more blame for VAST current situation. But with new mangt hopefully they can deliver this time. Yes there will be placings (for other Romanian projects) and they are a lifestyle company - but this is AIM. Play the game like the directors do !!!!!!!!!
If you had bought (decent amount) at recent prices sub 0.09p, I managed to get some at 0.078p just two days ago then your average would have significantly reduced and you could have breaked even with todays sp rise. Of course you'd needed the spare cash and the balls to buy big. These crazy low prices sub nominal value are not to miss out on! Take a step back to see bigger picture and try to recognise the risk/reward. GL Fantasy I genuinely hope you get back your money with profits!
TBTT - Diamonds was never really on the cards and was used to pump the sp for placings. Zim is so corrupt its unbelievable, which everyone knows. hence the historic diamonds confiscated and put in the locked safe - yeah right! The Pickstone Peerless gold mine was producing revenue but under terms/contract all profits had to be reinvested into the mine and hence a lost cause for VAST, not AP fault but previous CEO Roy Prichard. They had to go for the Romanian mines as nothing else was on the table and Lee Morris and crew (via large shareholders) ousted prev CEO and got AP voted in. The rest is history. Hopefully with new appointments I'm hoping they can start producing something of value and generate some cash flow which is very much needed. Yes I hate the mangt and its past activites and lies, but I'm hopeful for the future (1-2 years). I've only got back in sub 0.10p so I feel the reward is very much worth the risk. I really think this time round AP knows he needs to deliver - why? to restore confidence in the share price/company so he can sell his stake which he got at 0.17p.
I check in to this page from time to time to keep an eye on developments etc, I have a small holding. Previously we had May 2021 as being muted as IPO, has this date been pushed back (officially)? Is it Sept'21 now?
