I haven't been tempted to sell my UFO shares since they went up X5 last summer.
I've never had such amazing luck.
There was a gold rush on, there was a sense of "bank it while you can", but I wasn't tempted, and I'm not tempted now . . .
If it takes 5 years for this company to raise the share price, I'll wait. Let's be fair, digging into baked Australian soil is not the easiest job in the world.

I agree Dip666, we should expect high volatility from precious metals and all metals: however, metals are solid and real in a way that cash and bitcoin are not. If they're not doing well this year, there's next year and there's your children or nieces and nephews to leave them to.
Unlike just about everything else I can think of (besides Shakespeare's works), metals have got permanent value.

Max is our Information Officer: we all benefit from the news he posts and we all know that metals are the place to be right now.

Iron ore was at roughly today's price in early 2008;
Copper was at roughly todays price in Feb 2011;
Silver has twice peaked past today's price, in April 2011 ($45/oz) and Jan 1980 ($49/oz).
This is good for UFO because new investors can see that today's metal prices are not crazily high and have got room to go higher.
I've been bored and aggravated since Jan waiting for our share price to rise . . . but the one thing guaranteed NOT to raise the price is us shareholders tearing one another apart.

Just down at my local Tesco Superstore: the atmosphere was FA Cup Final or Wimbledon Final . . . it was "get in the supplies for party time!"
We don't get enough sun in this country, no wonder everyone goes potty when it hits 23 degrees.
Silver and gold are now more bullish than bearish around the world, and copper and iron ore are at all time highs.
We need to sip our margueritas/Buds/Sauvignons/Carlsbergs . . .
and pray for a lucrative summer!!

I did the same last year Smiller, forgot the Bank Holiday and I was going: "Why aren't the share prices moving?" . . .
but the Asian markets are open and Kitco News says gold and silver are up in Asia. Bodes well for us tomorrow.

Thanks rambino and appletree, I thought something had got stuck at ADVFN because the price hadn't moved from 32p since 12.45 . . . but I guess just waiting for a bigger buyer.
Oh well, we'll soon be flying.

I've been following on ADVFN.com, but the price there hasn't moved for 90 mins.
