I'm watching the silver price hoping for a rise because we need a nudge up, but silver and gold are not playing ball today. Hopefully before Mr Bill speaks on Wednesday there will be an upturn.

AgentB, my thoughts exactly: I think the share price rise is due to El Salvador . . . who knows how many small countries will decide they want a piece of the pie instead of the crumbs.

Reading articles on the price of gold and silver this morning, I found several reporters expecting a gradual price rise in precious metals over the next few years. One article was expecting the same sort of silver action coming as in 2005, when the silver price doubled, then trebled and then spiked.
I don't need spikes, they're too hard to time: I'm looking to take a haircut from my UFO shares this year, and leave the bulk of shares to see what they do next year.
We should be pleased that several sensible articles today were seeing a steady rise in the silver price.
