The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
SMS is too shrewd and savy to go on yahoo finance and do that interview and say there is nothing material at play . SMS owns directly over 10 % of the company and backs S4. As said before that was all needed
SMS yahoo interview was all I needed to know this will be fine. Initial spike beyond 400 p possible but we have to temper the tech / digital market is getting pounded so talk of anything beyond this is not very likely .
863 K shares again yesterday Cairn are hoovering them up. Let’s clear the overhang . Pretty impressive numbers and far better than I had hoped for . As per my previous posts.
I am sure they are looking but everything for sale will be top top dollar just now and the business model to buy at those prices just is not there long term .
I agree fully expect to see big numbers hoovered you today .
Not that busy a quarter I am afraid which is not ideal . Money due from Waldorf and kicking off the 2nd well in the North Sea. Let’s hope the phrase could not hit a barn door changes. There is no doubt about it 3 big dusters in a row have effected this . Cairn Energy has chartered the Valaris JU-123 for work in the UK North Sea.The one-well contract is expected to get underway in the second quarter of next year, with an estimated duration of 72 days.
I do not know the limit of buys to the volume traded but 21 K shares yesterday is just not going to cut the Mustard . Long term holders will be fully aware of this and the daily low volume buy backs. At least we are buying above 200 p but surely there must be a way to get the volume bought significantly higher. At this rate it will literally be years to buy back 200 mil .
Q1 trading statement due 06/05 . I can’t see anything but continued momentum. Very well run company
Strong continued growth . Very encouraging update
Ok a bit of egg on my face but it appears I was not correct around the upper price limit. RNS today shows highest price bought was 212 . Onwards and upwards now. Happy days
Anyone got a feeling what to expect next week ? I am quietly hopeful but not much info out there
Totally agree and sorry if my post was misleading the 2 million referenced the monetary value. Hoovering them up . AGM on the 11 th May should hopefully bring some fresh light to the share buy back programme
Unlike the woeful buy back numbers over the last few months it looks like they have cranked it up a notch or two. Over 2 million bought back in one week .
This will clearly let us see the direction the buy back is going on volume bought today. Woeful buy back programme since first announced a few months back crippled by the upper buy limit . Big sells today
Sitting at almost cash in bank value SP and as Barclays say 40 K a day for free this must be on a profit rich oil companies watch list . Surely this must be prime for the taking.
Absolute nonsense the whole purpose of a share buy back is to EFECT the share price and push it higher.
Dipped below 200p at least we will get a transaction RNS. Surely the 200p needs to be re assessed otherwise we are going no where fast
This is the link mentioned below and I fully 100% agree. The overhang needs to clear and this may take some time but Cairn have got to raise the upper but limit buy beyond 200p otherwise they are trying to buy shares at less than cash value of the company . https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/979158/carpricorn-energy-tipped-for-52-upside-with-production-business-presently-free-barclays-979158.html
Seems like there will be no buy back until the SP dips below 200p then it will kick in . I am pretty sure I am right with this and if that is the case how the hell are we supposed to go higher ?? Surely all this does is give the share price a floor . I can’t believe the upper buy limit has not been moved higher ? .
Great company results not far away . Recent low of sub 12 on the cards prior to results . For me that is a buy
