Tiburn my views are bearish solely because of the lack of progress from the company. Way back in June I post that we would not drill the sidetrack in 2019 but was of course labelled a troll. The company couldn't do a better job a trashing the SP if it tried, who puts out an RNS saying end of November is decision time for rig availability and then fails to notify shareholders of result.
Its utter contempt and until things change I shall continue to hold the bearish stance. I still agree the asset has the potential make good money for us all but I fear the company are just not up to the job of getting it out.

It maybe a class asset but your missing the point. We don't have a licence after July and we still don't have a rig contract. Both these fairly important facts were supposed to be finalised by now. Theres nothing stopping the Congolese government awarding the new licence to a super major with deep pockets to bring the Djeno into production through multiple wells.

The licence PSA meeting was October and the rig availability date was supposed to be notified 30th November. Is it any wonder that the SP is at this level as lack of trust and uncertainty are in control.
What on earth is JB thinking missing so many deadlines and leaving shareholders in the dark naturally fearing the worst.

There must be a sell in the background holding this back. I guess it will be reported later today.

So are AAOG looking for assets in Tunisa ask the whole Congo plan has been scuppered. Unable to agree terms on the licence and the partners have stopped paying. Now no news with the rig suggests yet another problem.
Is AAOG going to just become ATOG and everything is lost so far.

Tiptop the company has stated they will not answer enquires from mere mortals and only issue news via RNS, however they don't seem able to do that either.
As you have on many occasions proclaimed to have been in contact with the company you seem to be above this embargo. Why don't you or maybe Truthfactory , who qualifies due to his substantial holding, ask the direct question with regards the court case. What is the present situation with this as you can bet if a case had been won they would have put out an RNS.

Fair enough we shall see but I shall be, lets say, surprised if we get any news about this court case this year as i think it will all just disappear.

But the problem is that any "good news" will immediately be pegged back with the ISA selling, which @ 19.99% of volume per day will mute any rise.
How did that deal ever get the OK.

Why on earth would getting involved with an asset in Tunisa be a positive move when we don't seem to be able to add value with the one we have, which according to some is the dogs b*****ks of a reservoir.

I treat being a shareholder in AAOG much the same as being a supporter of a football team. Your team maybe having a bad start to the season and are near the bottom of the table but you still carry on supporting them through the bad times.
However it's OK to criticise the team you support if you think they are playing badly and thats not being a troll.

Codey has posted a list of events that have occurred during the past 12 months, these are factual although he has omitted to add that the SP has also been trashed from 17p back to 2.5p due to horrendous finance deals. This list equates to all matches home and away being lost and even the most loyal supporter must be getting frustrated.

There are others on this BB who seem incapable of accepting poor performance and just keep coming up with fantasy theories, none of which have appeared as yet. Lets be realistic that we are at the bottom of the league and the manager of our team needs to step up and turn things around as we all knows what happens to bad football managers.

Rememeber it's OK to admit your team is under performing, they deserve a few boos from the stands at the moment!!

The difference is that the past performance of the company supports COdey's argument much more than the the reverse.
The failure to notify shareholders of the rig situation 4 days after the previously advised decision deadline is yet another example of this companies poor performance.
Folk keep saying mistakes have been made in the past but we must move on now and with DS gone all will be better, however, it appears to be just the same contempt. Wheres the RIG,LICENCE, PAYMENTS, COURT JUDGEMENT.
It's a disgrace and any thoughts of getting bigger as a company fills me with dread, they don't seem to manage the small version very well.

Come on Tiburn you've gone too far the other way. If rig is on site January theres no way they will be in production end of February. They would probably do a EWT after a hopefully successful strike on Djeno. The well would then be prepared for production. It will be mid 2020 at best but I wouldn't mind the wait as long as the sidetrack hits the target.

This company treats it's shareholders with contempt, we are entitled to an update today as per the last RNS stating timelines.

Saying it was an oversight is hardly comforting. If forgetting such a basic thing like removing the name from the records at companies house what chance with much more important tasks. Do you think they forgot to check the bank account and haven't noticed no payments for months from our partners. Have they forgotten a date to conclude licence details or maybe they should have contacted the rig owner to confirm a booking.
An oversight is far from satisfactory.
