They do not have to make a takeover because share are in different investor names. As per rns they said that they had 25% in aleph and other parties which would vote no to deal and that's it.

I believe ,looking at aleph they see this company as a advantage to their existing portfolio. They would bring in more expertise to the company and see better ways to utilise existing gas and oil. Existing directors struggle with this as have lack of experience.

Aleph have good resources from what I have read. They can get the gas out to be sold elsewhere. Maybe this is one thing they are looking out

I try and swing trade this, until recently and found my stop loss being hit when going long. Now I just short this stock on any rises. After today's lack lustre trading report it's looking good to continue down. Maybe wrong but Tullow does not bring in confidence to investors.
