falklandinvestor, that was exactly what I was saying. People here just want to make a few bob and leave. Those kind of FTSE100 shares will recover. Just be patient. Be distracted by looking at your others investments. In my portofolio, I have 10 shares and only the HSBC FTSE tracking fund is up 2%. The rest of them are in red. I am not worry at all. Remember, the money is not in the selling. The money is in the research and the patience. God bless you all
Watching2, I think we will close at 130p the most. It was at 145p, 5min after opening. but now it is hoovering about 122-127
Why this is going down on a big news like that. What is wrong with people selling?
Thanks spbhoy
spbhoy, please where do you see premarket trades and price?
The only thing I hear over here is saying people complaining about how bad the stock is. Blah Blah Blah. Listen pals, this is Aviva, they have a total asset of more than £500 billion and annual revenue just above £35 billion. Even if those town go down by 50%, the market will correct itself and this will go back up. I can guaranty you that in 3 years, the Share price will be above 400p. So please, do not complain about how low the SP is. Just put your money and then let the stock market do it stuff. Remember, you still got your full invested money if you have not sold.
Wheremymoneygone, yeah I know what you mean. To be faire, I have put £5,000 at 104p. My goal is to add bit by bit. And like you said, in 3 years, I will sell it because this will go back up. This is Barclays ffs. They are powerful. Good luck to everybody holding. And be strong, I know I will need that strength. It is a marathon.
So you want them to release a RNS when there is nothing to release about.
I bought this at 65p and I aint selling untill at least it passes 200p. I am like an elf, I am patient , I can wait.
To be fair, this is for the long term. All those short terms prices fluctuation should not scare you. Come back in 6 to 8 month
I am selling at 0.18p. Just to make a quick money for the petrol
I thought this will be a bit higher than this. I bought it at 69p. And had in mind of 80p for a quick easy money for the petrol for the car. But I am very surprised that the price has gone down to 67p. Very strange
bubbles59, I put £10,000 at 250 for the long term, I have put £5,500 at 236 to sell at 250 for short gain. because I have realised that it keeps going up and down between 220 and 250. So I will trying just to make around £250 in terms of trading. That will pay for some bills every month
I am waiting for 250. I bought at 236.
Impossible to buy on HL.
I thought it will be staying at around 62-65p
It opened at 69p, so i thought we were going for a ride to the north pole. But now , it is 5% down. What is going on?
I can't get a quote on HL
Bramley1967, your next bowl of salad is on me.
Among all the 10 points that you have mentioned below, there are 4 that I will never forget and that I apply everyday of trading: 1st, 5th, 6th and 7th. I did not mentioned 4th because, if you have done the 1st, you will never do the 4th. Thank You again. for that. I have copied and paste it and put it in red and bold on OneNote.
Yesterday RNS just saying about the delay of preliminary results for May. Why this is rising so fast. I am just saying that because, it will also come down that fast. Law of physics. Slow and steady climb is what is required.
