I am telling you sisters and brothers, investing is having some b*lls of steel and not to put your emotions into any stock or money. Otherwise, it will eat you alive. Everything is down again today, even the Crypto market. But let us be PAYtient and with the PAYtience, we will be rewarded. This is a long term plan.
I mean, this is a good stock. I have been investing in AIM for like 10 years and I am pretty sure that this is a stable AIM stock. Normally, if there aint any news or FOMO, they drop like hell, but QBT has maintained it between 2.70p and 3.10p. But please, dont take my word for it, do you own research. We are in for a good ride.
I have been investing and trading AIM for almost 10 years now. What i have seen over the years, a AIM stock will either rocket up or will drop stone rock down. But this stock is stable between 2.6p and 3p. With the interview he gave the other day, I think the long term here is predictable and we are for a good gain in 8 to 10 months. This is just a prediction of course. But Good luck to all of us.
@Sharebel Just holding and buying in the dip if I have money. I am 75% sure that by the end of 2022, this SP will be above 50p
@Numan.Rezaul, you can not be more correct about what you said. People here are trying to predict the price movement for the next day or the next month. Predict it for the next year. I am not selling until the January 2023. By the mean time, just keep adding, even if it £300 per month. I can guaranty you you will at least make 150 to 200% profit by the end of 2022. Remember back in 2017 when Bitcoin reached $20,000 then went down to $3,000 in 2019 and just last week it has reached $68,000. If you can't hold a stock when it goes down 50%, you should not even buy stocks
@Bobat123, that is what happened when people buy a stock only because of the price is going up or down. They dont really read the news that the company has put out and they fell into the derampers trap. Yesterday I was up 10% and could have sold to take my bread crumbs profit, and today I am down 5%. Am I gona sell? Are you crazy? No way. I am waiting, and just waiting. Because that RNS they have put out last Friday is a huge one. Just wait February or March 2022 and you will see.
@misterbeck, They know what they are doing. The MM's are like that
Groover and RichieH9, but you are doing the same thing, but just the opposite way. You are saying to people to not listen to Porky9 and to listen to you. And you are asking people to sell for the price to go down. You might have good intentions and i am not disputing it. But with your comments, people will sell which will drive the price down.
@Martyn1873, I think i might do the same. I will just wait until next moth to see if I have to sell or not. But I will be reinvesting that dividend. Thanks man. I think after reading the board, I ant feeling down as I was this morning. It always good to speak to a second person, even if you have done my DD. I think I just did not read it properly.
@JSM1, Thanks for that. I really appreciate it
@rustvaar, yeah. I got it wrong. thanks for the explaination
@D.L., yeah. I have just understood it. I did read it but not properly. Otherwise I would not have bought it. It feels like I have not made any money on it. I thought I was getting a huge dividend on the top of the £20k that I have invested. In fact, my £20k will become £18k and I will received around £2k of that return of capital. So in fact, I have not made any money. Unless the share price go up which I think it aint. I have shot myself on the foot with that one
Jesus. Have it got this wrong? Because I have put down £20,000 to get something like £1,700 dividend. I used this to guide me: https://www.dividendmax.com/united-kingdom/london-stock-exchange/industrial-engineering/melrose-industries-plc/dividends
@Wolfiebill dont tell me that. I always use "dividendmax website" to check my dates. I thought the ex-dividend date is today 31aug, so you had to buy on the 27aug the latest.
@Masterbaker, Thanks. The ex-dividend date is the 31August. I am buying tomorrow. I wanted to buy today, but the price was keeping going down. We will see tomorrow after I will buy.
@Masterbaker, is that for the special Dividend?
@richred_uk, thanks. At the opening bell, the market was already 4% down. I was hoping it to be maybe 1% down. But Even if I sell now, I will altogether lose around £200. Which is quite bad
@jmp500, I thought you have to hold it all day during the ex-dividend date.
OK. i dont understand why the SP is dropping?
@ROCKETVI. My broker is HL, they are a little bit more expensive compare to others, but they most of the time manage to get me a quote and with them, to qualify for a dividend, I just have to buy before the Ex-dividend date. Even if it is the day before the ex-dividend date.
