So this short is still open? and they didnt unwind any of it under 100p. Very strange, no?
I would say that once the KRG show they are capable of making monthly payments that we can expect a big rerate here. So a little more patience is required.
There has been a big dutch influence at this company in recent years. Astaris fronted by Koomen, Hof Hoornemeijer a dutch hedge fund and also the arrival of Jaap Huijsman. It would say that this is not a coincidence. The dutch love making money., they are no mugs.
where have you seen these rumours?
Im surprised there has not been more unrest in Kurdistan with these leading families bleeding the area dry to buy more mansions in the US and Ferraris for their kids. There is clearly enough wealth in this area to make it a wonderful place for the population if they could stamp out the greed and corruption.
If the Krg can pull there finger out this should double in quick time.
Any guesses where the Bod will hold the agm this year?!
What is holding this down? Now 50p behind Genl with very similar circumstances. The company is now profitable with current oil prices. Feels like the price is being held down.
Kingkenny1000, you have 191 posts, all on GKP. Not one discussing the company, All seem to be trolling Opulentia.
Have a word with yourself, if you can not post anything worthwhile then simply do not post.
I would class Broadford and his cronies as a worse kind of goon then this"Paul" character. Atleast you can just ignore his posts.
Broadford chats constant **** and tries to come across as credible when he is no more than a troll.
Did the $35 dollar break even include the development with the work program as well as all other associated costs? or just purely, salaries and running costs?
Also, can this share price demolition scupper the BODs bonus scheme? I would much prefer to see the shares in treasury cancelled than go into the pockets of a BOD that is underperforming to put it mildly. I would like to see salary cuts across the board. Also, could these challenging times for oil service companies reduce our costs on getting to 55k and on to 75k, their prices must drop given the current circumstances.
It sounds like you are referring to when the drilling crews left a few weeks ago when GKP announced a cessation of drilling.
The field is still producing around 38k BOPD as per the last RNS.
How much is due in arrears from the KRG at this point?
What are the requirements for the staff options to vest? As at these prices I dont think they would be elegible for them.
So that could increase the likelihood of cancellation?
Could anyone shed some more light on this?
Last year was 25 million normal dividend plus 25 million special dividend. So the 25 million is guaranteed, it just depends on the special dividend. Which at these prices would be huge.
Am I the only person thinking that this short-medium term pain could massively benefit a company like GKP with its incredibly low lifting costs. A company that can make money even at these oil prices. The longer this goes on the more pain that will be felt by US shale, If US shale suffers then we will see a very different future for oil prices in the coming years. and GKP could be at the forefront. Lets see.....
With oil price well up in the last month or so and now around 66 dollars a barrel we must be due a serious re rate come January if this payment issue is resolved?
Yes, it started yesterday.
Using logic we should be worth much much more now and higher again when we hit 55k. But this company doesnt seem to behave like other companies. The Bod could start by communicating with its shareholders, still no word on the drill or pipeline tie in which is quite disapointing.
and you received the full 12pish full payment?
Has anybody else received the dividend? I received mine first thing this morning which was a bit of a surprise as it took a few days last time and I am not in the UK. However I only seem to have received around half of what the total sum should be. So Basically around the same as the first payment where this one should be significantly more. Has anyone else had this issue? Would they be paying it in two tranches?
