Speculative the irony is RRR commits us to buy a unlisted investment ( as you point out) and in parallel borrow at 0.5% a day with a 30% arrangement fee.

Two thoughts

1- if Helpful thinks it's so good as a larger SH than RRR he could buy us out. Or swap his CLN debt

2- Like every RRR asset it's been open to offers for three years with not much sign of interest.

Hopefully as a moderated version that's more reasonable.

In the last prospectus EO had no cash and is worthless to RRR as its not salable as an unlisted investment.

Suggesting that is good news to RRR is stretching it. Its news but good is hyperbole :)

I try to post factually and my main reason for posting is to counter act Helpful and inform newbies.

You clearly have soured in your old age and you have been here year.

Everything looks and sounds very informal. As such the DRC troubles don't help.

At various times Bell has:

- talked of new opportunities and private housing and RRR having a piece of the new action.

- meeting the president, then his mother.

- top man at Germines showing up Wed 22 just for the signing . All over bar the shouting.

- visiting the bank Friday alluding to cash remittance.

- then our money being spent on Ammo [ wasted bank visit ]

It's all far from straightforward and clearly Andrew has out of necessity conflated the arbitration decision with RRR having a role in something new.

That conflation / tie up with something new would have me believe there will be no positive outcome.

I think those with authority to make decisions in DRC will have little old RRR dropping to the bottom of this list. The troubles will be a priority.

Yes Andrew was unlucky but he should have planned for delay rather than overreaching in a load of additional projects [ funded by ridiculous APR loans]he cannot afford.

Let's see what happens but the longer this goes on the less chance of any type of resolution in my opinion.

Buts it's a binary bet on net amount from DRC, the phasing of those payments and when they are received.
