The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Well managed fund with increasing NAV and consistent dividends. Constantly expanding and now diversifying into storage which goes hand in hand with solar.
Everything down due to conflict fears yet this share which has been dumped to lows is actually up. Market is full of morons. Nothing makes much sense anymore.
Can't work it out??? Bottom is very sore. Was quite happy around 107p now sub 100p ? Why ?
Krusty, I believe they raised but have not fully deployed such funds as yet. The difference with raising funds in an IT is that they are usually deployed for a reason and not to keep the lights on.
I'm very glad I found GSF for my PF, it add a little diversity to some of the other IT's that also have a PF of clean or renewable energy projects/sites.
Maybe dividend increase if returns are market leading. 8p instead of 7p would be very nice.
After yesterday's rise I would expect a pullback. It will eventually sort itself out but don't hold out for a significant rise based upon nothing. The hydrogen sector is depressed. Its just how it is. 195p is a good target but that's been touted for a while now. We're still a very long way off. I would settle for 66p or around the price which ABB boarded. Anything higher will take sales and a turn around in sentiment. On a positive note the world desperately needs an alternative high power density clean power solution. We cannot get away from it.
Next things to look for will be delivery to Mace and Acciona plus the living lab which I'm not going to attempt to spell. Anything else will be a bonus and will or should have a positive impact on price albeit small whilst sentiment (market) is low
AB ramping to his staff? Do you think he needs to?
Well I am speechless. I give up trying to make sense of this 5hit. There are some foooooking idiots about thats for sure. How can this be trading at £11 ?
This is beyond comprehension. POLY now offering substantial value for anyone brave enough to buy. Longer term gold proce surely must be higher due to inflation. We know of the rise in AISC. The Russian advancement on Ukraine is not affecting POLY. So why are we now back to low lows.
Who is brave and buying this opportunity. I think I would be. 2 weeks and I hope to see my PQE buyout payment in my account. If we are here at that point I'm adding and average down.
Foooooooking nuts.
I love all this 'inflation worries'. Its a pointless discussion. We are going to see rising inflation which will settle over time but we still need renewable/green energy and personally I see very little relationship between 'inflation worries' and a need to move to renewables. Markets are just a mess. Down yesterday and back up today. Its just those better placed than us getting what they can out of it. Other factors also but in my view we either need this or we don't. Nothing has changed
Found this out with Total. Looks appealing then the French hit me with the witholding tax. HL did not shown this on the website and I was none the wiser until my dividend payment was not as expected.
AFC have 'sales' but even a significant amount are this point won't stop the sector rot. Beyond frustrating. Can't blame AFC for this drop but they could have got this over the line much sooner. It does seem we are always in the one more iteration of the same thing phase. But as I said, right now, today, a meaningful amount of sales would make zero difference to the SP
Seems a tough audience at the moment. Regardless of announcements and progress the SP doesnt want to move.
Poor POLY. This is horrific for shareholders. When does it stop ?
I agree jamesmaggs. Its remaining stable around 2.95-3.03p at the moment however I am still adding at this level. It is nice to see the NAV rising and today showing a small premium to NAV. Encouraging !
I am favouring GSF and NESF for energy ITs. I am not selling anytime soon. These are part of my long term strategy. Will look to add on any SP weakness. Its much better than an annuity as even with a little capital depreciation, which we obviously wouldn't welcome the yield is still higher and you still have access to the capital unlike an annuity. My strategy is dividend reinvestment. Not necessarily into the same share or IT which pays out but within the Portfolio. Compounding dividends over the next 5.5 years when I'll be 50 and may decide to cut back or retire. Will obviously assess when I'm there. Not sure of there are any black swann events which may come along in that period scuppering any plans.
As gold goes up this goes down. Probably should be buying more and not worrying. Expect it will all be much better in the future when whatever is going on here blows over.
Grid balancing for renewables is the way forward. Storing excess as its produced and selling when demand is volatile. Its the only way renewables will truly work. A nuclear or CCGT can produce a base load all the time having sufficient storage can eventually reduce reliance on fossil fuel base load. Storage may result in both battery and hydrogen.
I believe one of the sites owned by GSF is down down Road to me attached to a solar farm.
Been doing just that. They've raised significant capital to deliver on the 1.2 Gw pipeline. Not sure if much has been deployed and seeing a return but assuming that capital raised is not yet returning a revenue stream the NAV should only increase once it does. I guess GSF need the capital to be able to make the investments but they ha e certainly seen huge growth in the last 12 months. Yes. We are at a high but its a nice steady rising chart and looks like a well managed fund.
I am looking at adding to my GSF position considering how they operate and the rising energy prices, a considerable dividend cover and therefore a safe dividend. I like what they do but conscious the price has risen a little recently. Conscious of capital raises to reinvest into assets so don't want to get caught out on that one. What have they done with the last capital raise ? how long before they may raise again ?
