dismal performance all round. Not sure why the market is picking on this sector. Too much to offer economically. New jobs, focus on climate change, commercial product without subsidies. None of it makes sense. Only having about 20% of my 'capital' in stocks and shares it doesn't really hurt in the grand scheme of things. When the governments wake up and realise the damage they have done with the poor handling of COVID 19 and start printing money it really needs to go to businesses with a strong emphasis on sustainability, creating jobs, revenues and tackling climate change. Not suggesting that this is the only sector that should benefit but the world economy is in tatters as will be the global climate if it is not addressed. Seems like a good way of stimulating the economies across the world whilst tackling the effects of carbon emission and producing low carbon low cost energy.
It pi55es me off to see the erosion of market values of companies that have been working hard throughout the pandemic but at the same time moved ever closer to profitability. If COVID hadn't caused such hysterical behaviour of people then it would have been forgotten now. The only reason we are increasing in deaths, cases and hospitalisation is because we are looking for it. There are actually no more death at this point than in any other year and we are certainly a long way from March/April figures.
Well, I guess its time to lock this away and let it take its course and wait for something positive to happen in the world. If anyone knows where we can find this positivity let me know !
