Laura. At present Sou are servicing a massive debt with interest of around $2 annually which could be spent on new income assets. SOU have already stated that the clean balance sheet will enable the Company to gain far better rates on new debt serviced by new income assets. The Board have had talks with various counter parties about deals, but have been hindered with the existing debt. We have also been granted the 1st Solar permit out of the first 4 applied for, and the new joint Company is being set up with Gaia as we speak. I do expect some news flow before the AGM about the Solar projects,gla!

IIovesushi. Have you even listened to the Investor Meet. The Board have already stated that they have looked at all the funding options. There is no choice but to take the cash to accelerate the Renewable Energy and cash generating assets to replace the lost income from the stage 1 LNG Plant. And the Company name Sound Energy PLC covers a range of projects, so no need for a name change imo.

There is plenty of investment in the Renewables sector from interested parties over the next few years for obvious reasons after reading the above. Sound Energy PLC are far from finished with a clean balance sheet as some would want to make out,gla!

Crude, what a strange answer about the debt, the idea is to have no debt,have cash and still have a Company, wakey wakey.

CRUDE, Solar Energy and storage is very profitable in one of hottest places on Earth. ED the plonker charges the UK Tax payer Millions to turn the Wind farms off, and there is a lack of Sun in the UK like his two Brain cells imo.

Listen very carefully to the section on the Tara project and rewind to listen again like i did to jot some notes down. It states from 16.45 mins the set up as early as next week, 17mins the mention of Solar storage, 18mins mentions 17 sites with 4 permit applications with "ONE PERMIT ACCEPTED ALREADY". On top of there is a mention of a site for the 100 to 200 MWP. As for the Hydrogen, it sounds like a 3rd party funding will be involved. This sounds like the Renewables and new asset cash producers will more than make up for the trickle funding from the LNG stage 1, save $2m yearly interest and secure better finance rates. Sou are already talking to Companies about stake interests,but with this debt it's a no, with a clean balance sheet SOU will be listened to. So as far as you're concerned Kylie once stating" you will be here until the end", I suspect you will be waiting a long time.

Correct Laura, if any investor thought that a Company was going belly up, they wouldn't buy any shares at any price imo. I just think that the sp is just being walked down by the mm's to scare small investors into selling, seen it all before.

For every fool that sells at this price,the mm's will happily take them off you and wait for the bounce.

Laura, I have seen AIM Companies go down 90% on several occasions and bounce back up over the following Months, I just laugh at the uninvested paid trolls with no life.
