yes notaflipper, using Natera figures then Prem sp should be 40p+ on approx. 55/60k tests per annum.

I don't think Illumina want to give up any licences, why would they?, it only helps Thermo if they do and the only way it will happen is if the courts order it, otherwise no chance imo. They want to eradicate Prem not help them!!

they can announce ten Rns's a day about new labs or customers and it won't make a blind bit of difference.The ONLY one that matters is when they can move forward without Illumina on their backs, how that happens we will have to wait and see. Just hope it's pdq.

I believe any license would have to be similar to what they charge their 'friends' ,as I said in the EU at least.This is part of what the Commission is looking into.

that's the whole point of the anti-trust/competition, they can't put forward unfavourable terms can they? Not in EU anyway.

I they wanted to settle they would/could have issued licences long ago imo.They will only do it if they are told to by the courts..

twix, you keep saying they should have settled, how do you know that was an option, Illumina might have said no!

whilst they lost the case regards the technicalities(pending appeal) of the patents, I believe they have a stronger case regards anti-trust etc. This was demonstrated by Illumina and their actions against GOSH (amongst others)which I reckon will come back to haunt them!

the only thing I am interested in is will the company survive, and I think it certainly will! I know some moaned like feck about postponing the trial but what would have happened if we had taken them on at that time and lost?? At least it gave them time to go global!

'The first instance judgment does not affect whether the court would consider Premaitha's competition law defence after the patent hearings. The company will provide further information regarding this when the patent proceedings are further advanced. The first instance judgment�s effect is limited to the UK and under UK law any damages cannot be �punitive� but solely compensatory for losses that must be proven'.

like the review is the only game in town now.If the news is no buyout then I fear how low this will go.It does not seem to matter to investors about 'operational' success or the fact that it's maiden profits are likely very soon, it all hinges on the buyout or not it seems.It will be 6+ months of 'talking' at the end of the month and they should use that as the cut off, one way or the other we need an end to it next week, so we can all move on.IMO the longer the talking goes on the less chance of a deal, if there were any suitors really really interested they would have bought it by now knowing there were others sniffing around, or at least made an offer...aimo!
