Hilarious to think people are not interested in the legal angle because they don't want to rock the boat..pmsl! Some seriously think management can turn this around..ha ha!
Andyken is the only game in town, so some need to wake up imo.
Surely Yourgene would have had to give assurances/proof to get this deal done, especially the perilous state they are in. Some quick DD by MHC would have uncovered anything untoward in the short/near term.
I must admit I did think the contract was a positive sign for Yourgene. As close as the two companies are it just wouldn't have happened if Yourgene were so close to the chop imo!
I can't see any reason not to back what Andy is trying to do.. If enough come forward and he can get to the numbers he needs , then why not give it a go? As he says, some strong points in our favour.
In case anyone missed it from last night;
''Thanks to a number of you who have reached out and expressed an interest in taking legal action.
To summarise, we have been told that we have a number of strong points that could be used in any action. The issue is that so far we would be looking at a claim just shy of £500k. To look at taking this forward we have been advised that the claim should be at least £1m and ideally 2 or 3 if we want to go down a funded / no win no fee route.
To that end if anyone has any contact details for Steven Myers please could you let me know. The only other person with a decent holdings who may be open to speaking with us is Bill Change who I will approach separately''.
Thanks

That £18.1M would have been their previous effort. That's why they said it's above forecast at £19M. Anyone got a copy of the previous forecasts as I don't recall those low numbers for FY24 and FY25.
What is the point of these people. Latest summary just about word for word taken from last update. I certainly hope/expect the sales are better than they forecast for heaven's sake. Looks like their figures are out of date . Why are they showing FY23 of £18.1M when the last update says £19M, unless of course the £19M is poppyc ock ?
They reckon a approx 7% rise in sales next year and another 11% FY25.. What happened to 20%+ over the next couple of years as per company update.
They never seem to be reported separately though. Just tagged into an update. Should we have known (rns) about the Nipt wins bringing in £2.7M annually? That's quite a chunk of dough for Ygen and material imv.
I suppose I don't mind not doing one for the crap news...any good news would be ok though..lol
anyone else think that was a ''material'' event and should have had a rns? There have been other times when I believe we should have had one too.
BOD reckons they will achieve 20% or more year on year growth over the next couple of years. Moving into positive Ebitda and cash position along the way. Looking forward to it!
I'm really pleased to see international sales up so much. That is where the big growth will be, and already started by the looks of things, 70% not to be sniffed at!
Tony, I think they will have enough until Aug/Sept. If they divest then enough into next year by all accounts. Of course if they actually sell more gear it will all help.
Net proceeds were £6.8M so the Q3 timeline should be extended imo. Wasn't that Q3 worked out on £5M proceeds?
This next update will have to be very good if they are to stay on imo. For me they have been here long enough to show they are not up to it. The business model does not stack up. There is something else in play here, as I simply cannot believe anyone can be this incompetent. It is staggering!!
They also invested at anywhere between 7p and 18p too. Judgement wasn't so good there was it?
''yet this company is a professional outfit and has some strong assets''.
Obviously doesn't stretch to senior management.
not sure how the company can go forward with the current management . No comms, nothing! How on earth can/will they be taken seriously now? Not only Hextall to blame here.
I assume you mean Twixy boy? Desperation I guess!?
the figures will not warrant him staying on whatever they are imo! The damage is done.
ii's bought plenty of placing shares, so must be backing him unfortunately for now. However that will change hopefully! They will know the revenues by now so if they are at the top end I will expect an rns to say so early doors. If we hear nothing in the next 7-10 days or so then I expect it will be at the lower end, and heaven forbid even miss the £18M..
