I think out of the 24m shares Elucigene directors held only 60% were 'locked in'. So about 14/15m shares that might be selling down, if they sell them all? The good thing is that there is a finite amount so will end sometime soon one would think. Hopefully there are no other big sellers out there too?
I just wonder if an rns is being held back until this seller/s is out??

I hope nobody pays any attention to the sells/buys on this lse platform. For instance the 150k now showing as a buy is a sell. Many others are incorrect so we should just ignore what is showing.

hmmm! no claims to those trades yesterday. Not sure what the % thresholds for reporting are with the big shareholders, could they have sold without crossing them? Or were they buys?

don't forget into Africa too. All helped by the recent acquisition of the French distributor who have clients/links there already I believe.

if they were sells it didn't affect the sp, which is good news. Also the smaller 'sells' were at 6.15p as well.I wouldn't have thought anyone dumping 15/16m shares would have got that same price, or maybe they did? Hopefully find out soon!

the majority I think are the Elucigene people selling. The ex ceo must need funds now he's a one man band consultant. Just wonder how many shares he held. It's not a coincidence now those shares are unlocked for a while we see continuous selling.Good thing is they have a finite amount and at some point will end.

yes yhal, it's the main reason I am holding. Just can't see where a suitor is coming from though. Luckily I am holding a stock that is manufacturing for NCYT who have the 'gold standard' Covid test, and 70% of the tests used in the Uk is their kit. So had a decent bit of fortune there. Makes up for this comatose stock anyway!

yes Ygen are still involved with NCYT, but to what degree? That is the problem! I had hoped that after Ncyt announced doubling production to 8m tests per month Ygen would also announce extra work, like maybe doing the full version, not just a couple of components.
It is about time we got some clarity with some figures, though what we are doing so far it seems is not 'material' otherwise we would know through a rns.

There seems to be plenty of capacity around, so why are we not testing 100k a day right now? Is it just more bull from the govt? Some say that deep down they still prefer the 'herd immunity' direction they first talked about. Maybe that is why they don't seem committed to test test test!

Morg. I have read that Milton Keynes, Alderley Park, and I think the Cambridge site will all be able to do 30k tests each, not even including anywhere else. It might be all incorrect, just what I have read over the weeks. Having said that it seems to change from one report to another so who knows!
I also don't believe the govt will do 100k+ tests a day either, just my opinion of course. How many tests are they doing now, is it up past 30k yet?
As I mentioned the NCYT tests will be much quicker to do soon too so even more capacity for the big centres if needed.

Twixy, just a little fed up with it now that's all. Day trippers coming on saying how crap this company/stock is because it hasn't 50 bagged like NCYT. Volatile sp and just too much expectation. Now with lack of news all the angst and disappointment.

morg; there are 3 centres now with maybe another coming online. I believe that at least 3 of them can do at least 30k tests each a day.This does not include any PHE/NHS labs, which can do many thousands more.
I know the govt talk says 100k tests a day, imo they will not come close and even if they did, it seems they have more than enough capacity.
Don't forget that NCYT will have a new testing system for their tests very soon which will speed things up even more, so even less need for Ygen in future.
TBH, I rue the day we ever got involved with it all!
