NiptS, yes I have mentioned the capacity before. They reckon to do 100k tests, about 25k of that will be the tests available for home use, so now we have 75k to go around. The megalabs will eat those no problem if we are to believe what they say they can handle.
It would not surprise me at all if they have done a 'Dyson' on Ygen. If that is the case then more lab capacity to engage with someone else hopefully.
Maybe get some news one way or the other very soon.

yes BB, it's worth noting if nothing else the apparent strong demand for shares. Snapped up in a flash, as were his previous tranche it seems. Hopefully they will be in stickier safe hands going forward.

I expect them to follow over the cliff Monday morn! I have nothing against SJ, but as I have previously said, his presence whilst informative has been a little unsettling, for me at least. We all knew he wasn't here for any length of time and of course so did the markets. We had the biggest shareholder with some 150m shares that we/they knew he could jettison at any given moment.
Whilst any of the other big boys could of course sell out at any time I think they are maybe perceived to be a little more 'stable' and long term, who knows?
Hopefully we get a rns Monday morn with news of some quality insti's that can give this a bit of spark and confidence. They obviously see value in MMX so hope they are proved right.

no probs H9, it's a pleasure! Not sure if you have looked at the presentations and videos on the Ygen website, but they are really good and you will see the confidence LR has in the products and what is achievable. I think everyone who hasn't seen them should take a look too.
Many new investors here don't realise the significance of being on both Thermo Fisher AND illumina platforms with the Nipt product. In mobile phone terms it is like having both Apple and Android . A win win!!
Ygen is the ONLY company in the world that can supply both Thermo and Illumina (the two biggest in the world) with tests, so in a very unique position.

What I like about the business model in the USA is that it only takes a few people to service the whole of the country. Can't be bad that. All those Illumina nipt test sales with very little overhead hopefully!
