@Erroline - Oracle is one of a few companies that are very well positioned in ****stan right now in this current economic climate. Pak govt are now looking at all the private companies that can bring in innovation and address its long term energy concern! In my opinion the GH project is a game changer as there is nothing like this in ****stan and im happy to wait 3-5 years. Sheikh Dalmook will see this project through. He is the only person as a shareholder that has direct contact with Shehbaz Sharif and its only him that can pull off Thar coal. It wasnt long ago that Shehbaz Sharif had discussions with Sheikh Dalmook on Pharma investments in ****stan

@Adam - Chinese BRI program cannot fail ****stan, if it does this, will send shock waves to all other countries that are part of the BRI program, they will see the Chinese as someone they cannot rely on. You could ask the same for Sri Lanka. Why did the Chinese walk away? Sri Lankan economy is based on Tourism and Agriculture with no natural resources. The Pandemic and Import ban on fertilisers which meant that the Sri Lankans could not feed themselves or export its agriculture and Tourism came to an abrupt end.

****stan is self sufficient with food and has a stronger industry than Sri Lanka but really needs to lift exports and stop being dependant on external energy which is eating into foreign reserves and start to utilise its natural resources such as coal in Sindh and recently Barrick Gold corporation (US) made a discovery of one of the worlds largest Gold-copper project in Reko-diq

No. Politics is a bit messed up all over the world! The US utilises Rawalpindi airbase to export arms to Ukraine and on the other hand you have China exporting arms to Russia but China still supports ****stan through CPEC! Also you have the Qataris, UAE & Saudi's buying cheap gas of Russia and then sells it on to Europe & the rest of the world cheaper than what Russia initially sold it for! but the ordinary consumer gets stung.

@AmatraB - currently on hols in ****stan, live in one of the most affluent suburbs in Islamabad and we get gas 8 hours per day! It's diabolical to say the least. A big percentage of population don't get nothing! Things are really bad here

Imran Khan was not blocking Thar, local assembly & Regional governors in Sindh and Punjab who made life very difficult for him to make further progress. When he came into power he was short of a majority in those regions.

That will all change as he should win two thirds of a majority and then Thar coal will then become a priority

5 weeks of import cover and then it may default. What does that mean for us? Im only speculating.. but i think some state assets like PSO ****stan State Oil may get sold off as well as some other companies as SUi gas. I dont think it will have a big impact on our share price, may drop momentarily by 5-10% before it bounces back. I do think Thar will get sold off at a premium if ****stan defaults. I see plenty of good news for GH in 23. GLA
