It has already been discussed the offer price to take the company over has to match the highest share price in the last 12 months.

Feb 1st share price approximately 132p

March1st share price approximately 113p

May 1st share price approximately 80p

So if JD can ask for another extension his offer could be a saving of roughly £50Mil

Although there is also the chance Next May checkmate his offer I believe there are on the lookout.

One thing to take in to account JD owns over 27% of the company, hardly loose change, no wonder it is taking so long to finalise a deal or no deal on his part. Plus he did build the company up from nothing.

I think you will find Gary is on the wind up, just fishing and catching a few. Gary says he has never shorted it but just like everyone he has an agenda.

Hopefully tomorrow will bring another good volume. Move up to mid 30s would send a good message. The shorters have had good run today would of closed a few shorts today.

Holding just short of 80,000 shares average of 33p still in the red but a lot more confident on turning a profit after today. Will be holding for deal or no deal then review going forward.

This share has been very volatile today. I had trouble buying in this morning and now feel in the short term I may be spiked buying in at 0.33.

The genuine question is how useful would L2 have been this morning.

I would think we would have to agree so far a very tight ship no leaks.

The end of last month if JD had made an offer for the company the share was 40p his offer would have been in the region 60 to 80p.

As we know the clothing retail is in the doldrums, so unlikely there would be another offer for the company.

So why not extend the process by a month. The markets hate uncertainty, the share price drifts down. Let’s just say end of this month share price is down to 25p. What offer would he put in 40 to 60p.

That is a big saving especially if his plan all along was to make an offer.

Rock that is a very good point you have made with the market cap coming down this then brings there short to 0.5% so it is not a new short at all that makes a lot of sense.

I found this site very interesting once a company is over 500 Mil most of them have shorts active. ASOS at present has over 17% active shorts scary.

The guys on here deramping will have there shorts with the spread bet companies very risky as nearly 80% loose money.

See link above found it interesting who these barstewards are shorting looking at the Superdry history they shorted them in 2020 but only for a few days. Some companies they have shorts ongoing for years.

Think they are to late hopefully loose big time here.

These 2 trades after hours not sure if buys or sells. But we should receive an RNS Form 8.3 as they are over 1%

Let us finish blue today about 8% up on the day hopefully broken the downward cycle 8% for each day next week would be good onwards and upwards.

I don’t think we will see a bid in till the end of the month. But I do think we will see stake building shortly and this will steadily push up the price, looking good.

If the 15p crew are smart they would have taken there 10%short profit. Every chance if they are smart they took there profit and straight away went long.

Personally I have to give them credit personally way too risky for me to trade like this.

I actually thought at 07:00 extension was a good thing And was expecting to see mid 40s today.

On Halifax cannot even buy 300 shares but can sell just over 31000 can always sell. But cannot always buy good chance can buy now.

Certainly no leaks at the moment. No for widows and orphans at the moment, would be happy with bid of 80p plus

What are everyone’s views on a takeover, our fate will be decided next Wednesday. Since the rise this week we have steadily declined. I invested at 40.8p with sole aim of a takeover, take profit and exit. Not so confident now as had expected a slow rise not a slow decline. Hopefully start to see a steady rise on Monday.
