Is there any particular significance of 1.8p? You seem fixated with that specific price.
Seriously... DHC, it happened.... Time to get over it man!
I'm a long term holder (significantly longer than you) and I'm not bent out of shape about it... I understand that to develop the business they have to raise money somehow, and we're not at a point where banks are willing to loan us money, so UKOGs options for funding are still limited.
Much bigger than the other one they built
Oh ffs.
Because they all have nothing going for them, and are all desperate for the cash?
It's not for you to say it's unnecessary, you're not running UKOG.
Let the people in charge make the decisions... you may not like them, that's not really their concern... their concern is making the best future value for the business.
This is what I don't get about people complaining about placings... who else is he going to "pass the cost onto"?
We're not at a place yet where banks will lend money... we have naff all income and assets that have no officially proven value... so where else is the money to develop the business going to come from?
Do people think all this stuff gets done for free?
Waiting to place when UKOGs share price is higher, could also mean that the cost of the asset they are looking to purchase could also be higher...
Shareholders will be informed of what they are required to be informed of, when there’s something to inform them of... at the moment there’s just some rumour floating around.
And, frankly, if there is a placing on the way, I suspect it will be used to purchase the rest of HHDL not already owned by UKOG... which will end up being worth vastly more than £5 million.
It just means the share price will languish down here for a while longer while the 500 million shares get churned...
If anyone’s patience is wearing thin now as it is, I’d suggest they learn to suck it up, or assess their options ;)
I personally don’t think we’ll see a CPR until after the horizontals have been flow tested, as their performance will have a material affect on the overall well cormerciality, recovery rate and therefore total value.
It wouldn’t make much sense to issue one before the horizontals have been tested, and then have to issue another, updated one after.

Stop flapping!
It’ll start when it starts
Jesus Christ!
The planning application people are objecting to are for the four future wells UKOG want to have at HH, not the sidetracks we’re currently waiting to begin being drilled
Why? Just because people have no patience?
ANGS rushed things, cut corners to try and get into production first, and look where it got them...
I prefer the slowly slowly, do things right approach, myself
People cant read, it seems.
DOR disposed of 6% of their 10% holding in HHDL, not UKOG.
Also, for all you know, UKOG may have requested the postponement.
Rich3648... I really don't think you possess the temperament to invest in stock markets.
DOR are just desperate for cash though, so despite what DL says, I'm pretty sure they're selling some or all of their remaining stake... I doubt very much that DL is selling his personal holding though!
Maybe they have a gentlemen's agreement with UKOG that they'll sell before any big news, so as to not weaken any rise in UKOG's share value by selling into it?
