Strange that they have not mentioned latest dosage figure, which previously accompanied the "intention to increase dosage" RNS.
Either want to change trial protocol or they are trying to accelerate the trial process to market in some way.
Could want to change: MTD, frequency of dose, increase to higher than current MTD all in one dose.
Anyway, got to be TRANSFORMATIONAL* news short/medium term.

Yes it's a biggie, but at moment the lifetime limit is restricting the trial.
A few links have been put on here recently of reports saying that with targeted drugs the old limits are useless, as the dox is not seen outside the tumour.
BUT they must stick to the trial rules until changed.

But it's a stipulation of the trial, so they cannot go above the level of, I think, 720mg/m2 for any patient.

Bein, In my note below, I have tried to explain (probably poorly), that the max lifetime dose may now be a big stumbling block and they want to remove it at this early stage, while they have the flexibility and it's at it's easiet, because they can test the theory straight away.

They want to change the trial protocol and remove the max lifetime dose limit , as it may not be important anymore because the prodox is working that well.
Rather than create a new trial, which takes a long time, they can then increase the dose and give several doses.
Don't forget , they are proving a platform and the first step is crucial.
This means they can decide whether many small doses and numerous large doses are more effective.
From a value point of view , if the lifetime max is removed, the quantity each person can have will increase significantly and thus the value of the market.
I think they are waiting on the relevant authority and the answer must be soon.
