No, the well has never produced. There was no infrastructure on the island for gas in the 60s. And shell was not interested in gas. so when they hit gas it was abandoned. TXP got the data on the well from the retired shell emploey.

But this is not a trinidad story, many wells all over the world was abandoned when they hit gas at the time. they wanted oil, and only oil...

Volatility in the short term is no reason selling. North is in it for the long game. They have reach subsea and txp as only major investments. why would they sell pre royston, or dividends? They dont need cash. and pid dividends themselves today. (15,5 percent).

to put it in perspective: Royston/kraken can make todays finds as little as the east side of the island is for us now. Sadly by that time many have sold way too early. As an investor this is a lesson to be learnt late. My way of finding an my exit is to always look at the stock with new eyes when the riskprofile changes. TXP is far from a hypestock and a good parkingspot for capital.
But to specify, i have TXP via North energy. (and was ****ed off when they sold of a portion.)
