IN a year takes some beating.
Typical all's quiet on the GGP front, off I trot for a 10.30am chiropractor apt, come back this afternoon to find
3 x RNS releases and share price down 13% ........WTF?
Reacquaint myself of the proceedings and top up with another £2k at 29.2493p
Only regret is not being able to top up at the earlier much lower prices . I could claim to have topped up at the bottom but some of us who have paid off our mortgages are truthful.
10) Sorry the report went in the washing machine.
Makes me laugh all this expectation and impatience day in day out.
"are we nearly there yet.............are we nearly there yet"
At 16.26 I was offered 32.875 to sell and 32.675 to buy on H/l
Definite shenanigans going on as just as swiftly darted back up and corrected to buy higher than sell
Not sure.. In answer to your question I have been trying to do dummy trades and can't buy or sell on h/l at the moment. So it's not just you!
Temptation took over .
Another small top up and at these prices why not?
3K at 33.7475
It beats playing Ping Pong
I'm at £4.31 bit of a way to go still.
Still nice to see it going up for more than a day before going back down again as sadly so often has happened in the past.
Unable to place a trade on H/l for last 5 minutes, happened just before Christmas as well. They really have gone to pot last time I was on the phone trying to talk to them for 22 minutes trying to buy some GGP shares and when I finally got through they wanted to charge me the more expensive Telephone trading charges!
Hopefully he has been terminated forever.
"holding & waiting should therefore not include whinging....unless you need attention"
Spy.......Thanks for making me Laugh
Have a good weekend all, I won't bother coming on here over the weekend.
Almost a dead cert that the likes of Arnie & Co will raise their ugly heads.
Here's looking forward to next week!
Been a steady dripping down of the SP all week by the MM's, some big buys needing filling going on. The lack of Scally results is just helping this situation and until they are released it feeds the impatient and the weak to sell and move on.
I am quite happy to wait, Patience is a virtue as they say.
Mcvid....Back on the 14th/Oct/2020 you were bemoaning the lack of Scally results! The SP then was around 20p and we are now 35-36p and you have a problem with this.
Perhaps if you are that unhappy you should sell.
Arnie missed it.
Merry Xmas and a prosperous 2021 to everyone on this BB, thanks for the mine of information and input that has kept me confident in the long term prospects of GGP. Especially Paddy Gall who has had me sitting on my hands for a large part of the year and resisting temptation to take some tasty profits.
He isn't but I am -bought most of them back with the proceeds of the sale.-lol
Don't know about smug ones but...................
I volunteer to be the Mug One for today
Whilst doing a dummy trade to gauge the market , I was Unfortunately distracted by the dog this morning so instead of cancelling order I hit sell!
Luckily it was only for 3,000 shares bought as a top up last week(9th) at 33.54p and at least I sold them at 35p .
Lesson learnt chuck the dog outside when share dealing or better still don't do dummy trades.
One thing is for sure this is perfect timing for the MM's to scoop up shares on the cheap, they must be loving this news!
Could be some profitable school runs for some this morning.
At the end of the day I am still many many thousands of £'s up on my investment with this share, yes I have taken a big hit over the last couple of days but that is part and parcel of investing in AIM shares. In the past I have panicked and sold and then regretted it when common sense prevails.
I owe this BB a big debt with it's wealth of knowledge, experience and interesting contributions growing my confidence in this share over the years. Nothing has changed it is still early days on the GGP journey and i will not be tempted to sell any of my shares for some time.
