The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
So nice to have such a positive day after all the doom and gloom and relentless drip down of the Sp over the last few months.
Makes you glad that you stayed with your conviction in GGP, tinged with sadness for those that bottled it or were forced to sell for whatever reason due to the diabolical tactics that we have endured on a daily basis for so long.
Here's looking forward to many more days like this to come.
HairyDavey - "the day our board get things moving" is the day when Hell freezes over. They have had 11 years to get things moving and the only thing that moves is more money into their bank accounts every payday.
Sam will remain "committed" to riding the gravy train until it finally comes off the tracks, that we can all be assured of.
It certainly is!
Topped up with some more at 16.8p, ironically did a dummy sell and the price was 16.8273 , the manipulators and shorters are working their socks off this morning. Bring it on I for one won't be selling anytime soon !
Some very clever tactics being played here IMO, last week we had the build up and anticipation and then got the good results we were hoping for. Bit of an anti climax at first with the SP then we saw a positive rise finally going through the 19p SP changing peoples mindsight and hopes once more of a change of fortunes at long last.
Soon followed by the sharp manufactured drop to totally disillusion the weak or impatient to say you know what enough of this I'm out of here.
It's a game to them but if you don't sell eventually they will have to change their tactics
Prospers of course.
Are we nearly there yet?
Are we nearly there yet?
Are we nearly there yet?
My losses (on paper)in GGP have now crept into 5 figures, not a lot for some but a lot for me, am I panicking No.
With the daily drip down in SP I am however getting extremely frustrated YES, as are many others on here.
I am going to sell NO, the spivs in the city can play and manipulate this share all they like but it just makes me even more stubborn not to give in to them and let them win.
SD is building the company and the team to grow it, it takes time to do this and it just takes patience from us as shareholders and that I have plenty of .
GLA
All this negativity and frustration just plays straight into the MM's game plan.
Any RNS that is released these days is played upon and the usual suspects come out to stir and disrupt.
Look what has happened so far this morning. sentiment is NOT through the floor DS we know this is being played and the more patient of us will in due course reap the rewards.
Viking S... It most be Loki
"In Norse mythology, Loki was known as the sneaky and trickster god. He caused endless trouble for both mortals and gods"
I wish you good luck with your endeavours and admire you for taking this on, sadly I only own 1,170 shares so consider my contributing to your cause not worthwhile doing.
Sadly I bought 400 shares at £5.06 in Sept/2010 and made the mistake of topping up with a further 770 at £3.87 in Oct/2010
AS a LTH I have waited 11 years for something to happen with this donkey of a share, watching those on the BOD noses in the trough being paid out of proportion salaries to decimate the shareholder value in the company .
Now these shares are just parked in my portfolio to sell at a substantial loss to offset future CGT on a gold mining share I have great faith in for big gains in the future.
That is the only positive I can see going forward.
Same here, best way really and keeps things much more pleasant .
Zoros,
Sorry reread my post and see it may be confusing.
Yes I did totally sell out in Jan 2020 at 2.4p but thankfully for me bought back in August 2020 at 14.72p what a difference seven months made!
Since then been steadily topping up, keep telling myself stop buying but then as is happening now another bargain buying opportunity presents itself. Currently my average is just over 22p thanks to some buys at 33 & 29p so showing a loss at the moment but gradually averaging back down.
It's only a loss if I sell and not going to so onwards and upwards.
So glad i lost internet access for most of the day yesterday when I have now read the quality of the posts that were put up.
It is the usual lowlifes who seem determined to invade and drag the BB to new levels of bashing and confrontation and go out of their way to upset as many people as possible.
I can never understand why someone feel the need to comment on a share they are not invested in whether it be in a positive or negative way.
I first bought into GGP back in November 2018 at 1.3p and dabbled around trading them for a couple of years making myself some small profits along the way, finally selling out in Jan 2020 at around 2.4p.
The fact that If I had kept them even at the current low price I would be a lot richer than I am now has not turned me into a bitter and twisted individual spouting poison and determined to disrupt this BB at every opportunity through being cross with myself for doing so.
We all make mistakes and make the wrong choices as we go through life, the more mature of us learn from these errors of judgement and try not to make the same mistakes again.I personally don't care about what a lot of people post on here, but I do value the key core contributors who I trust and welcome their interpretations of events and results.
Demands to shut the BB down why, My filter box is growing rapidly by the day, I don't wish to waste my time on engaging with and feeding these peoples comments and that is the key .
IN the end I alone will make the decision when I decide to sell my GGP shares and will most certainly not be influenced by any secret agenda contributor on here. This share has a long way to go and grow in value before I will even consider parting with them!
I don't care just bought a load more at 18.8p.
This share never fails to surprise me, after this mornings what I considered good presentation and subsequent rise in the SP it falls back to sub 19p.
A good choice of appointment, all the pieces of the jigsaw are being put into place to grow the company .
SD doing all the right things as far as I'm concerned.
This company is going places make no mistake!
Patience.
At the moment their seems to be a lot of shareholders who are angry, blaming others for their investment choice and venting their frustrations on this BB.
Sadly to me it just goes to show that the games that are being played by the institutions aided by the Spivs in the city are working, grinding down the Pi's by a slow gradually drop in the SP testing their bottle waiting for them to cave in and sell.
Personally I went into my investment with GGP eyes wide open, for the long term gains and not a quick profit, sadly too many traders and rainbow chasers are sitting on burnt fingers at the moment.
Never invest want you can't afford to lose, it's the same rules as any gamble which at the end of the day is what buying any share on AIM is all about.
I must admit I used to look on here 3 or 4 times a day to keep up to date with everything GGP. The trouble is the whole tone and input of contributions has totally changed and it is so depressing to sit and read it all.
Yes we still have the well respected "old Guard" of contributors but sadly we now have a large group seemingly hell bent on points scoring and being generally disruptive and often abusive who bring absolutely nothing of note .
Green is becoming my favourite colour which says it all really.
Life is too short and with what is going on in the world at the moment some people really need to grow up and learn how to to become nicer people .
Glad to note that they have seen the potential of GGP and reaped the benefits.
"Starvest PLC - London-based early-stage mineral exploration investor - Says net asset value GBP16.7 million at end of March from GBP18.0 million at September-end, but highlights that this stood at just GBP4.7 million at March 30, 2020. "This annual increase is mainly due to the performance of our holdings in investee company Greatland Gold PLC and, to a lesser extent, Ariana Resources PLC," company says, adding it has continued to see gains post period-end, with net asset value GBP19.1 million at April 30. Swings to half-year pretax loss of GBP1.2 million from profit of GBP2.5 million a year prior."
Always the subtle negative tone to your posts, if I was in any doubt I would sell up and move on but I am not.
I hear Wishbone are the new dogs danglies if you want to chase a new rainbow to a pot of gold.
