for the first time this year I have completely closed all my shorts AML shorts. it could drop further but I believe Ive got most of the value from what was very obviously well overvalued.
as one of worst performing laege companies ive ever witnessed my profits have been mind-blowing.
I may open more shorts in even of a price spike or further newsflow but there are many other great short opportunties presently .

agree , ive got a long term short position here. itals been extremely lucrative.
ive added to that short today at 450p as a result of reading todays rns. im sure there will be exteme volatility but steongly believe the share price will be vastly lower than current levels in the short to medium term and that aston will be relegated from ftse in Decembers review which will rewuire investment funds to sell and drop price further into the new year I'll probanly sell after that .but we shall see on news flow , and sentiment
The Company today announces the details of a 4 for 1 fully committed and underwritten Rights Issue of 559 million New Shares to raise gross proceeds of approximately £575.8 million.
The issue price of 103 pence per New Share represents:
· a discount of 78.5% to the closing price on 2 September 2022 (being the last business day prior to the date of this announcement); and
· a 42.3% discount to the theoretical ex-rights price of 178 pence per New Share calculated by reference to the closing price on the same basis.

quite possibly! i only had a passing look as AM was in the clear. i wouldn't surpsied if the dates for newsflow wete set by am to to avoid relegstion before rights issue bin order to keep a higher average share price to limit dilution
