Posted this on MXCP thread as it's very relevant to us who hold CSI. Expecting to see fireworks here when MXCP and CSI finally release their impending news. Both should do very well due to the potential size of any deal as MXCP have £28 mill and CSI have £21.5 mill. Anyone remember the last kestrel and mxcp led acquisition? Redcentric? £68 mill was total amount and I can see the same thing here once the holding co acquisition goes through on the 28th of this month. MXCP and CSI should see some good upside movement towards that date. For clarity, I hold both mxcp and csi for the above reason.

Yes, when the trolls appear in force they usually are doing so to get in before the news. news which we all know is due any day now. Just keep in mind that we have a shed load of hard cash here and no debt...why would that be a bad investment? Quite simply it's not, it's an outstanding investment and that's why the trolls are out in force. Hard cash and top BOD = Multibagger! imo

What strikes me is the Little British Battlers which MXCP are sponsors of. They vetted over 200 companies and only 12 made the finals. Now all these companies are tech start ups with niche products and MXCP are in a position to see which ones have something that's worth taking out before it gather any traction which ensure the acquirer captures a growth trajectory that could well be enormous. Most of these little co's are involved the LBB because they have something unique but lack funding and sometimes direction. With CSI packing over £21.5 mill in the bank they are in a position to take one or two of those companies out and growth with bolt on acquisition and very quickly have a substantial product on offer to various markets which MXCP have access too. That's just one scenario but when you have access to £21.5 mill in cash the possibilities are endless and the profits guaranteed. Look at the Calyx acquisition by MXCP? doubles up their investment in the space of 6 weeks. A deal like that for CSI gives an instant multibagger and we have a lot more cash than MXCP did when they done that deal!!!

Yes, there is a definite view that a substantial acquisition will be made here and haven looked around at the reaction to what you can only describe as minuscule acquisitions by other companies in the same sector I think it's safe to say that this will fly on acquisition news which will most definitely come this month imo I think at the end of the day the best example I can give is one which most have seen happen over the last two years. CTP was a cash shell with only £3 million pounds to it's name and £1.2 mill of liabilities so we are effectively talking about a company that had was to have approx £1.8 mill minus it's liabilities but it never even had all that as deferred payment from coms was not paid in full but it was reduced from £1.1 to £800k...so..CTP never even had £3 mill but it did go onto achieve over 500% of growth in the space of 12 months. What can CSI do with over £21.5 mill in cash and some of the best heavy hitters on the BOD? This is at the bottom and I can see a lot more than the 500% CTP done coming this way... I can see us moving a lot higher than that over the coming months. Bring on the acquisition phase!

Are you still building a stake here? Very interesting stock. Where do you see it going from here? Broker target was reduced but it's still 105% upside from today's price by all accounts. Interested to hear your thoughts on this one.

From Spark yesterday with the result of the GM where they passed the asset swap which gives them over £1.1 million of CSI stock. That's a huge vote of confidence and now nothing to hold us back from moving on and geting the news out.

Another RNS will come tomorrow confirming spark's acquisition of £1.1 million worth of CSI stock. Once we have that rns it will be the catalyst for news direct from CSI. Starting to get interesting now.

SPARK Ventures plc 5 August 2015 Result of Open Offer Produces Total Fundraising of £14.4m The Board of SPARK Ventures plc ("SPARK" or the "Company"), is pleased to announce the results of the Open Offer, details of which were announced on 21 July 2015. Under the Open Offer, valid applications have been received from Qualifying Shareholders in respect of 54,816 Open Offer Shares, including applications under the Excess Application Facility, representing 15.7 per cent. of the Open Offer Shares. SPARK has therefore raised approximately £0.5 million pursuant to the Open Offer, and total aggregate gross proceeds of £10.6 million pursuant to the Fundraising. The total funds raised, including £3.8m raised via the asset swaps, was therefore £14.4m. The Fundraising remains conditional upon the passing of the Resolutions at the General Meeting of the Company to be held at 10.00 a.m. tomorrow, 6 August 2015.

2 x 575k totaling over £400k on Friday now showing up which again proves my point that this is not a punt and never has been after the recent series of events. £40 k on the nose of this one before the game has begun tells me we are close to the news with the big boys loading up. Thursday will be the catalyst for this stock and into next week I expect us to motor.

Are you suggesting Spark just took a £1.1 million punt? A seven figure investment is not a punt I'm afraid. I don't how many times it's been stated that in order to get in early and ensure good profits going forth you need to have the ability to join the dots together as and when news and events come to light. The fact that an investment company such as spark have invested over 1 million pounds should be telling you and others that there is indeed a lot about to happen here and it's not a punt, It's a sure fire bet that with Kestrel buying more stock recently for their clients and spark spending over £1 mill that something is a foot and it's something of value otherwise why would a fund manager have his clients invest? A fund manager who is on the BOD and owns over 20% of the company? One would think he possibly knows something? Why would they hire MXCP in a strategic capacity? A company who operate in the Tech sector? I could go on but feel the above points should clarify the position here. It;s a matter of when and not if a deal is announced! The news on Thursday that will be released will be the catalyst for the next leg up and take us a step close to the inevitable. £21.5 mill gets you a lot company!!

That Broker note today is basically telling you all you need to know. Pinn are further down the raod in their recovery than people are aware of. It's normal to wait for the evidence of a return to rude health but the return to good health always proceeds the evidence. That's what investing is all about, it's piecing together the information that's out their and concluding where we are with it. All the info contained in the recent interims pointed to that recovery being under way but you have to remeber the period they were reporting on, it was a period that is now consigned to history and not a reflection of where we are now. Even in saying that though the evidence of the recovery was contained in those interims. The contracts wins and the 02 deals are testament to where pInn is headed and if you want a guaranteed recovery play which is only just starting to gain some traction then look no further than this one. The recovery alone will provide a nice healthy return on it's own but with acquisitions earmarked for this company a sure fire multibagger is on offer.

Well PET is a successful means in the private sector as it's simply a cash injection where the owners or investor angels will inject cash to grow on the basis that it will increase the value of the company generating a more lucrative business. Spark are proposing to use pet to generate superior returns for investors and it will, it's the very thing that pi's would ream of. It's the complete opposite of what normally goes on in these markets (dilution) and pi's would be falling over themselves for something like this. Instead of getting diluted you get a cash injection and enhanced share price for nothing.

Question; So, Spark, in collaboration with others (Gresham/mxcp/kestrel) are proposing to use PET to inject additional capital without taking a single share more other than what they hold at this point in time in order to maximize the potential return at a later date when the company has been built up and prepared to be sold off. That's a complete no brainer for Private investors as there is no risk of dilution and it in fact does the complete opposite to dilution, it enhances your holding and increases it's value in a large way providing superior returns. The institutions are taking all the risk using the PET, and the PI's just can't lose.
