I did say in capitals that it's just a suggestion. Why wait for the money if you can persuade/coerce them into taking out a licence first? Remember that there is a time dimension to the value of money. Can't help but suspect very strongly from the tone of your post that you're still smarting from my "You can always tell a Nigel but you cannot tell him much." comment. You used to back the previous Nanoco senior management to the hilt come hell or high water regardless. Do you back this lot? If not then why not, please?

One possibility is that we now have a management team who know what they are doing and, having got wind of LG intending to use Nanoco QD IP in products under development, have decided to proactively head LG off at the pass, so's to speak, by using the known past infringement which PERHAPS was considered too marginal to be worth taking action against.

IMHO if something gradually but steadily declines over time then by definition it is DWINDLING.

The CWR share price moved upwards form 15:30 our time so the market seems to be putting a positive interpretation on this announcement, unless there's something else leaked out somewhere that we don't know about yet.

Why would you expect the author of the article to have insider knowledge of any ongoing sale process?

Don't you mean you'll sell when the bid price reaches your average? With respect to your comment about buying and selling on "minor fluctuations" (i.e. trading the share) have you noticed the spread?

According to this the votes cast constituted only 29% of the issued share capital. If approx. 70% abstained NO WAY have the shareholders given the BoD a vote of confidence.

Spot-on IMHO. Good analogy. The board's assuming that rejection of Milkwood means we have given them a vote of confidence is IMHO a good example of what scientists often refer to as "extrapolation from a point". As you say, we just see the current BoD as the lesser of two evils. Better the devil you know when you're stuck with a Hobson's choice.

Basically what I'm asking is: can we trust any of them?

Could this proposed sale be a carefully orchestrated manoeuvre to gain control of the IP for OUR Gen 2 dots ON THE CHEAP because they are so much better than Gen 1 and the patents have enough life left in them to realise their potential? I.e. are WE being told the truth, the WHOLE truth and NOTHING BUT the truth? Of all the companies that Milkwood and the other states-side lot could have gone after why Nanoco? Are Milkwood spinning us a line as a cover story?

Hope you don't mind me being honest. Why on earth do you keep making pro-management posts only for them to be immediately metaphorically blown out of the water. The only reason I can think of is you have a very strong connection or relationship with Nanoco senior management. If this isn't the case why the feck do you bother? Speaking as a "protozoa" it seems to me, having monitored this chat room for a long time now, that you are consistently wrong in your predictions a lot more often than you are right. Methinks, being a "protozoa", that it is time for you to eat humble pie and apologise, especially to Kooba who IMHO has a much better record than yourself.

Why has it taken 20 months to still not start legal action for infringement? Gathering evidence? Are they going to fund the same as before whereby other parties make a killing and we end up with not a lot?

Absolutely right. In my marketing lectures they told us the icon of good marketing was the Mk. 1 Ford Capri. Basically a fast back Cortina built on the Mk. 1 Cortina floor pan.

It's what a lot of the posts on here are doing.

If Gen. 2 dots are as significantly better than Gen. 1 dots as has been reported on this forum then potential customers will compare the two and may well make the decision that they would sooner wait for the Gen.2 rather than incorporate Gen. 1 only to then upgrade to Gen. 2.

IMHO this is what is happening to Nanoco now.

I didn't say or imply that STM have walked away. I explicitly reiterated what I see as the Nanoco stance that STM have DELAYED their purchase order.
