What would you expect Shoei and their lawyers to have done during their due diligence investigation?

I'm not an expert in this sort of thing but when deals such as Shoei buying Nanosys happen doesn't the purchaser go through a

process known as "due diligence"? If Shoei and their lawyers conducted their due diligence properly and Nanosys managers lied then I can see that TW may have a good point. However surely an equally good point is that if the money has gone then there's no point in a civil lawsuit and it's up to the relevant criminal justice system to decide what it wants to do.

Doesn't the fact that Apple have had a very close association with Nanoco in the past and are very familiar with the technology and patents GREATLY strengthen their argument to add Apple?

Seems to me looking at the information Sammy88 has given us that Nanoco should have released a lot of RNSs to keep us informed. I appreciate that while negotiations are ongoing commercial confidentiality applies but when a process ahs ended without a result then surely the knowledge of what has happened being released into the public domain will affect the share price. In my opinion particular examples in Docket 113 Attachment 2 are:

Page 19 - in 2015 Nanosys approached Nanoco to suggest a merger between the companies

Page 19 - in March 2023, Nanosys approached Nanoco to suggest that Nanoco purchase Nanosys. This was just after the Samsung settlement

Page 20 - as we already know, in March 2025 Shoei and Nanoco met in Tokyo to discuss "collaboration" i.e. Nanosys acquiring Nanoco

Of course there's the issue of NDA agreements but I would have thought this would only apply to the CDX process?

Anyone able to comment, please?

As I write this the spread is an incredible 21.5%. It has been as low as a tenth of this in the last week. It varies a lot even within the same day. Does anybody have any insights or explanations, please?

Spot on IMHO. You've posed the $64,000,000 question. Viz:

The fact both these giants have worked with Nanoco in the past and know their products and IP again asks the question why does no one want to source material from Nanoco…quality or cost ? There surely has to be a reason why nobody moves to commercial scale with Nanoco though seemingly want the technology in their wares.

As in London Stock Exchange.

Spread currently just under 1%. My understanding is that the spread is primarily influenced by the volume of trade.

Spread just under 2% again and bid price moving up slowly but steadily. Something afoot???

The spread is down to 2% which is definitely on the low side suggesting a high level of activity. Could an announcement be on the way?

Yeah, he's gone! Hooray. Methinks (i.e. IMHO) that we did it not so much via the moderator but via his own actions deleting everything because of his ego not being able to face what was coming from us as events proved him wrong. I don't recall him ever saying anything like "all in my own opinion" or "DYOR".
