What we are seeing on twitter is the bioinformatics team confirming Assay results.
ie the 100% homology with all COVID-19 sequences on the NCBI database.

So in this respect, the group marketing manager is publishing the daily checks performed by the informatics team, so that all can see that NCYT, on a daily basis, is confident that the test kits it is selling have the 100% capability to detect positive 2019-nCoV samples.

So, if it is the case that the virus has mutated into a weak and a strong virus, no problem, because the NCYT test kits, and the Assay results posted regularly, assure users worldwide, that all is well, and any mutation of the virus is still detectable.

So as long as the bioinformatics team are kept busy with fresh data, medical authorities can be assured that Primerdesign knows how the virus is mutating (or not), and will instigate any measures required that assure the detection assay is still fit for purpose.

I wrote to her last week asking why information from NCYT was so scarce.
She replied at around the time that the last RNS landed, so no help at all.

The news item landed last night, might explain this mornings interest, how much of the $3 Billion is for 'diagnostics', and how much business might NCYT capture?

Please don't get me wrong, I want Gareth Jones to be successful in his efforts to negotiate another loan,
but he has been at this task since November.
I don't think it was a coincidence last November that the loan was re-arranged, and 4 days later the CFO resigned.
He had only been in the job 2 months.

I can see Gareth giving this maximum effort until April when if he fails, we fall back on the present loan, with access to Tranche 2 at MidCap's discretion.
Lets hope he is successful before, and we don't continue with the present loan, because it is clear the board dislike it.

I feel sure there was sales information that could have been reported, as the time for twiddling thumbs whilst reviewing a quotation is long gone. As I've mentioned, payment must accompany any order.

So it would seem that the bulk of the quotation requests are still in process, and have not yet been converted to orders.
So it is too soon to get a better idea of sales and thus Mcap.
I'll just have to be more patient.

Until NCYT provides an update as to what products have been sold since the last update, then we cannot begin to guess an MCAP.
Bearing in mind, that Primerdesign do not take orders without payment, should we be provided with info on what has been sold, we would have a much better handle on Mcap, and that may help to reduce the wild swings and roundabouts for the sp.
Stabilisation if you will.
This is the RNS I want to see most, else our investment is in potential, not in confirmed sales.

I have been a shareholder since 2014.
Unlike yourself chester, I don't see a resolution of funding being iminent.

I don't believe tranche 2 of the loan will be drawn down until negotiations with other providers has stopped,
and I don't think that will happen until the money has nearly run out, and they have no choice but to continue with MidCap.

The loan will fundamentally affect the finances of the company for the next 4.25 years, and the deal must feel right for the board, (mostly guys with relevant financial experience).
They obviously are not not in love with the MidCap deal, as they make no effort to hide they are still looking for finance.

And because finances have kept the sp low, I feel the company has been running a risk of being bought out.
Bigger concerns with the necessary access to cash could soon progress what TRX has been trying to achieve since November, when the present loan was re-arranged.

The Elephant in the room is how much disruption will be caused by CV, including any disruption to fitting out the new San Antonio production facility. We can't know this now, but we should expect it.

It states that co-diagnostics has only sold two instruments to detect the Zika virus.

In short CODX is not a company ready to exploit it's success in obtaining a CE label.

The best they can hope for is to license their technology, and reading this article convinces me nobody would sign an agreement with them.

I'm starting to wonder about an NDA.

Is no news about NCYT instruments and test kits being broadcast, happening because the company wants to remain anonymous,

because it fears a long que of pilgrims on their front lawn demanding someone 'see's to' their sick relative,

disrupting or stopping workers (those who can still turned up).

Some parents are like that, - they take sick children only to A&E, not to a GP.

After all when this kicks off, there are no telling how many Police are going to be available for clearing away Pilgrims.

I found two articles concerning co-diagnostics, one good, one not so good.
It states that co-diagnostics has only sold two instruments to detect the Zika virus.
They may have the CE label, but I'm not sure Co-diagnostics is a serious player to build anything in bulk.
