IMO that is what is stopping NCYT re-rating.

This 13th October Guardian article may go part way to explain why NCYT recently advertised a vacancy for a PCR assay design scientist, with part of the job description stating that the successful applicant would need experience in designing and validating assay's and lamp isothermal PCR.

The article states:
"Paul Dennett, the directly elected mayor of Salford, said he was told by council officers this week that its part in Operation Moonshot had been paused due to a lack of clarity over the accuracy of the saliva testing system."

Early Lamp test assay's developed with assistance from Basingstoke based NHS staff, and NCYT last March, may now require NCYT to assist with any assay fine tuning that may be required.
The early test were not using Saliva swabs, but (I believe) Nasopharyngeal swabs.
Later the test was changed to analyse saliva swabs.

My guess FWIW is Optigene and NCYT are working together on LAMP assay improvement.

II's are now loading , and they will be trying to do so in the future, increasing the buying pressure on only 70 million shares.

IMHO there may will be a lot of sp volatility ahead, simply because there aren't enough shares to satisfy demand at any one time.

Any attempt to hold sp will fail, and it is just a matter of time before this happens,

so "Once finished this will fly" ain't necessarily so, I can see the 'flying' part as being part of the ongoing process.

The fresh news we are waiting for of any kind will just increase buying pressure and volatility.

This either signals that NCYT are starting development of their own LAMP assay, or they are working with Optigene.
Optigene were recently a warded a very large contract for a tiny company, and we know that Primerdesign has very good materials supply arrangements.

I'm noting it said that only part of the job description was designing and validating assay's and lamp isothermal PCR.

For me it re-ignites whether NCYT are working with Optigene on LAMP.
