focusIR May 2024 Investor Webinar: Blue Whale, Kavango, Taseko Mines & CQS Natural Resources. Catch up with the webinar here.
Let's hope it's great times ahead for all us shareholders! We all deserve it!
I see they have now changed the logo on the UK Investor Show website to the correct one; Atlantic Carbon Group Plc (had been Atlantic Coal).
If anyone's going to it on 30 March, would appreciate an update here on anything Interesting!
Some new photos just posted on Twitter!
There shouldn't be any further extensions to the deadline, as it states in the Offer Document (para 2.9) the following:
''In the event that these conditions are not satisfied or waived by the Offeror by 31 March 2019, the Offer shall lapse and the obligations in this Offer Document shall terminate and cease to be of any further force or effect.''
So, I'm keeping everything crossed that all will be cleared up well before 31 March. DSS hold their general meeting on Monday; hopefully it will go smoothly and we should have details after that.
unvrkw, Offer closes on 22 March, not 23 March :
'' Reverse Takeover of Atlantic Carbon Group plc by Daniel Stewart Securities plc. Re-opening of offer with deadline of 1.00 pm (GMT) Friday, 22nd March 2019. see ACG website for further details including voting figures to original deadline of 28 February. ''
As stated in ACG's latest post on Twitter :
"ACG DSS RTO
If your shares are held through a nominee company eg Barclays you MUST respond via the nominee, and not direct to ACG or Link, as you are not registered as the owner of the shares."
TTNY2013, they are relisting, not delisting.
' ACG DSS RTO Offer
ACG/DSS legal advice is that share certificate not essential for valid vote. '
No date set yet. Maybe we'll get some details on Friday???
RTO from Daniel Stewart Securities for ACG.
Deadline to respond to offer letter is 1.00pm Thursday, 28th February.
Hamm, if you have accepted the offer and notified Link of this, then you are accepting the change over of your old ACG shares to the new ones and therefore must give up the old certificates. Everyone accepting the offer is in exactly the same position, whether they hold the shares themselves or their broker holds them, we ALL have to send our shares with the acceptance. I've already done that with my broker. It clearly states on the form that you must enclose the current share certificates you hold. with your Form of Acceptance. That is one of the requirements and they will be unable to accept your form without the share certificate.
With Interactive Investor (ii), they refer to "proceeds" and state the following:
" Your account will be updated upon receipt of the proceeds but in some circumstances there may be delays in the proceeds being credited to us. Please allow 10 working days for your account to be updated."
Also, closing date with ii is 25 February.
Worth a watch, from September of last year:

Mariog, I would get onto your Broker again and get them to find out why you have not received anything on the offer! As you will see here, many of the other Brokers have now got the information through on the offer. Keep pushing with your Broker to take action on it! The closing date to vote with Interactive Investor is 25 February, so time is moving on.
neil9574, I've now accepted the offer with Interactive Investor. Was more or less straightforward to do. It gave 2 options; I accepted 'Option 2' which was for 'Accept the Offer'. I also had to fill in, in the option box, the number of shares I hold (It is possible to vote here with a lower number of shares than what you hold, and retain some of the old shares, but I don't see any benefit whatsoever in doing that) .
neil9574, just seeing your reply now. Now I see where the options 1 and 2 are. I'm with ii too but haven't got around to getting into my account to read message and vote; will do it tonight for sure.
Piscio, some people hold their shares in paperless form with their Broker and others, like yourself I assume, actually hold the paper certificates themselves (and don't have them lodged with any Broker). Therefore, the procedures may be slightly different between Brokers on what action has to be taken to accept the offer. I assume neil9574 is talking about action he has to take with his 'Broker'??? However, you have the paper certificates and are completing the forms yourself. I would suggest if you have any doubt regarding what you have completed on the form you should contact their helpline once again to double check what you have completed on the form. Best to be safe than sorry!!!
Szynd you're maybe best contacting Link directly and asking them. As stated on the Form of Acceptance :
"IF YOU ARE IN ANY DOUBT AS TO HOW TO COMPLETE THIS FORM OF ACCEPTANCE, PLEASE CONTACT LINK ASSET SERVICES ON 0371 664 0321. CALLS
OUTSIDE THE UK WILL BE CHARGED AT THE APPLICABLE INTERNATIONAL RATE. THE HELPLINE IS OPEN BETWEEN 9.00 A.M. TO 5.30 P.M., MONDAY TO
FRIDAY EXCLUDING PUBLIC HOLIDAYS IN ENGLAND AND WALES....."
Oops ..... got my days mixed up, they posted out documents yesterday, Thursday, first class.
Also, see they have just posted on twitter the following :
"ACG Relist
Listing application made to UKLA this afternoon."
That's enough from me must go.
