Fair point mb but it's all about sell on news over there. If their next news from Scallywag follows the Havieron route then it will go mental ( hope it does ). But I must admit to have been moving my profits from there over here as I feel we have more chance now, not of 3-5m oz in short term, but more chance of doubling your money. A £1bn market cap is always stretchy when not producing revenue.

Who would have thought after the fairly recent disappointment at Ernest Giles, that we would be announcing a confirmation of a discovery of 4.2m ounces of gold. Gold at high grades at that and with an existing mill/production capacity on our doorstep managed by a very reputable partner with deep pockets.

I like this and clearly it is not off the agenda. Coupled with the the recent quote of our potential being multi-bagger, then all at the moment is very positive. Potential 5m oz district..........district full of potential drilling targets....offer may await final tie-up of loose ends?

I think MC wants to get the market capital up to a level that better reflects the potential of our 5m oz district. Yes he is no miner but he has a grasp of the numbers which means he may let Calibre/Rio have this for around £2?

Precious metals held outside the system will be the key question. I think silver coins will become the new 'black market' currency of the people for ordinary transactions. Presently small denominations and recognised to be of value. Gold coins for larger transactions....just my opinion crazy though it sounds!

Talking of gambling, I put a small wager on the Leipzig/ManU game last night when the score was 3-0 to Leipzig. Took 110/1 that it would end in a draw. Final score 3-2 with a Leipzig defender almost scoring an own goal in the 92nd minute!

Tom E....they can trace who bought gold if they really want to I'm sure. My bet is that they will wish to exchange their new digital currency for your gold at a good rate. That is before they let gold find its true value after they have bought most of it. That's how they'll wish to back any new currency in my opinion. Holding gold mining shares is thus a good option in my view and that's why the Chinese are accumulating. Surely they won't purely confiscate gold as they did before?

Good points t123......there's also lots of talk about CBDC's with the move to a digital currency. Not sure if you'll have watched as many utube videos as me, but all very interesting/worrying. Worked many years in banking and know they will do basically what they want.
As far as tips are concerned Connect.....well Condor is now my longest hold. The others like the aforementioned goldie I trade regularly, as I know that long term they'll be fine. But trading short term adds to the income. The odd £500-£1000 here and there, but dipping in taking profit and avoiding this casino. Mostly not long term anymore as don't trust the market. Not investing some of the money thrown about on BB's as want to exit. After the correction will look for good solid income stocks. Won't touch the banks at the moment, although risk there is they have my pension pot!

I think the commitments to all the locals including the miners is key. The company has given lots of support to the nearby town and they still have much to gain from the mine. The mix of a new mill locally and toll deal will keep everyone sweet I feel.

Thanks Connect.....it's why we do this! What with all that's gone on this year on the negative side, piling in on the March drop of 2020 will have proven profitable for some of us. Several little investments in the pharmas at the right time have helped too. Worried generally though as we go forward to 2021, although I think commodities such as gold, silver, copper, lithium, etc are likely to hold their own. I'm hearing a lot about the 'Great Reset'?

I find it very difficult to knock GGP too they've made me some cracking money this last year. Have taken out a fair wedge now for a couple of treats, but they still have potentially a dramatic 3-4 weeks to run. A lot came to Condor these last weeks and other bit is sat on my drive. No point investing trading/investing if you can't enjoy the rewards eh!

ISAP.....you would think they might test the market, but at what level would they raise the bid? 55p....60p? I guess then they would hope to sell higher, but then they are taking a chance on the good news creating such demand. I feel they won't be happy to gamble, rather just wait for a leak of the news. When suddenly the price rises then we know the leak is out. Just waiting patiently for this final hurdle.

Standing in line this morning ( behind Jim ) and with a few others after me. Still not open for business as they say nobody is willing to sell at this price with news so close. MC needs to RNS the news.....might that move the price folks?

I reckon that bloke Jim got about 46000 this afternoon, but not everything he wanted below 50p. We'll see tomorrow and in the coming days if we get an RNS. As I've said, will be in the queue early again in the morning and wondering if I'll get any under 50p. Hate to increase my average, but this is so de-risked and ready to go, would be a fool not to.

Very interesting in January too as it seems they are working on the numbers with regards to the diversification of assets. I think they may choose to focus more on Paterson and find the cash useful.
