Having sold out to what is now a minimal holding, I will be asking for them all back in the Open Offer. Perhaps those calling MC and the company can continue this morning, so that take up is low and I get every single share I ask for? Crack on chaps!
We’ll soon see some signs here. Was a little strange that MC was doing so many interviews based on his irregular appearances over recent years. Clearly looking at upping the PR. So when is he being interviewed next, as a prolonged absence might mean either we’re close to an RNS, or that he’s hiding? But apparently he’s in Nic, so somethings happening.
CCC. the point also to consider is that Mark & Jim have got to be able to say they achieved best price for the assets. So it may be that we have had conversations around a buyout price, which is below what would be expected by investors. He has said before "more than £1".
Possible also that the timing of Jim's arrival was to stand with Mark after they found interest at xxp ( less than £1 ). Likely then that it's been put to Hannam as a means of being able to show they tried to flush out other buyers. Quite easily could be done by Christmas and perhaps Mark has had enough of the time and travels to SA and has a future elsewhere.
60p would do me nicely at this point.
If we assume the geologist visit to site was to do with a potential buyer rather than financier, then an opening bid could come anytime. Share movements over coming week or so may signal intent, or someone betting on the outcome from the industry. The gold price recovery also works well for us. If the $2000 price looks like getting closer, then with an AISC as a positive some urgency may follow. I’ve been adding today though have been marked as sells.
Keeping an eye on things I think is useful……seeing how sp moves in a trend, size of trades, movement in sp compared to volume etc. Bit like studying form really…….and on cold non-gardening days how better to keep warm than by studying Casp ;-))
Confidence in the exec is key. We know O&G assets will be valuable as worldwide pressure on fossil fuel exploration will cause price rises. KSA limiting supply. So success whether shallow or deep, or with the rusty boaty drillbit, will sustain the dividend and ultimately reflect in the sp. When.......is the valuable lottery number.
Might have to rename them Caspian Surprise if we have more positive news in the coming days and before the next divi calculation. My thoughts now are that they might be wishing to grow income out of this sooner than we think.....
