RE: SP Finished20 Jul 2018 20:05
Chilting, surely the shorts already in existence dont influence the SP. It is only when a new short opens, that the SP is negatively influence, and conversely when it closes. If more opened today, for whatever idiosyncratic reason, and provided they were opened by existing shorters over the 0.5% mark, we will see so tomorrow when the FCA update their short tracker. But I would not have thought, that they would increase their shorts in light of the positive developments. It is possible that we will see another trade deal over the next 4 weeks. It could be at any time.
My thoughts are this is still 50/50. Even if we had 7m worth of deals, it still doesnt mean that dilution free finance will be forthcoming. I have 23% of my only modest portfolio in here, and that's not much compared to some of you in here. But I am still anxious.
On another note, Brazil, huge market to be sure, but HMI is on their doorstep. Not invested in HMI, but I am considering it as next investment.
