Economies don't grow forever without having a pause. Are you saying a brief slowdown is a sure sign that the German economy is collapsing? Laughable. The UK economy has been growing for 60 years plus, but not without hiccups.
I think we and the bod are victims of wider geopolitical challenges. But the fact that they switched to a three tier finance arrangement from their earlier strategy shows that they are adapting to the challenges to get it through, rather than insisting on a flawed plan (like our pm is) and that has got to be a positive thing, and increase the chances of success.

All economies will show a slight slowdown after a bullrun. And the EU economies are no different. Far from that being a sign of collapse, its a sign of healthy consolidation.
Off topic, I think a lot of our troubles in the winter month would be aliviated if we had winter tyres like the rest of Europe. And no, they are not just better in the snow, that's why they are called Winter tyres.
