Sorry but this is just silly. No one is trading anything down. Its pi's panic selling. That's all it is. There isn't some greater force manipulating the sp. We just are not that important. Sorry folks

I don't have a stop loss and I don't care about my paper loss and I don't believe they are in charge or that they can magically trade this down as you say. There isn't enough shorts to trade anything down. There may be more sellers than buyers, but shorts are passengers at best. To suggest anything else is silly in my opinion.

The shorts are clearly in charge? How are they in charge? There are many multiples of longs compared to shorts, so I fail to see how they can possibly be "in charge"

Well this is a shame. I only just bought in last week and already well down. Why does every share I buy tank? Need to start buying shares I wouldn't touch with a bargepole.

Don't worry about the shorts you are seeing. Once they are short, they have no further impact. Only positive impact, because guess what, they have to buy it all back at some point.

Rusirius, sorry but you just don't know what the sp will do over the coming weeks. It might drop back to 15p, it might keep rising to 40p. You and I, just don't know. So please don't profess to know, because you don't.

Right, get what you are saying sprucegoose. Getting rid of the overhang with the sp maintaining momentum north would definitely be a good thing.
But in the main theme I think sxx has become more solid as a long term buy, if it ever was, and underpinned by the Norwegian investment.
Christ, I have been in this from 12p to 47p, to 18p to 39p to 15 p and currently 19p. I don't know where I am anymore. Never once did I think it was going to be the rollercoaster we have seen it to be. I envy those who have only just discovered sxx and come in afresh. They have not had to bear the risks we have had to endure, and may yet reap the same benefits. Good on them.

Sorry sprucegoose, but I disagree. If this st2 was more driven on short term gain, do you really thing a Norwegian super fund would have bought in big time? I really doubt it.

I have subscribed for the full offer, plus oversubscribed for 4 time that. I want to flush the Co's coffers with as much cash as possible, whilst saving on transaction fees.

Jones Richard, selfishly I would say wait, might dip below offer. BUT, buying outside the offer doesn't benefit the company AT ALL. Only buying within the offer will be fit the company in terms of capital, and all the rest of us.

At the very least we know that sxx will continue to be a going concern. The chance of the project failing as an entity and pi's walking away with nothing is extremely low now, in my opinion. Therefore even if your average is high, given enough time, you won't be walking away with nothing to show for.

Alicia, do remember one thing about that. The Norwegians are not worried about that, at all. Enjoy the ride. Hopefully the last one, upwards.

Not sure if todays rise was engineered to entice us to take up the OO, but it worked. I took my 2000 share allowance and oversubscribed by another 4000. I hope I get them. If not I will get them on the open market, albeit at the prevailing sp. I do think as long term holders we need to take up the oo. It actually brings in cash to the co, so its win win.

But I have been here long enough that this might be a false dawn, and it could still dip below 15p. But somehow, now that the Norwegians have bought in, that thought doesn't bother me so much anymore. Go figure.

Cant believe he wants to lead the brexit negotiation after the damage he has already caused to this country. He should crawl back into the hole he had disappeared into after the ref. People have not forgotten how he disappeared when he realized that there was no way to deliver brexit, and there still isn't.
