Reminder to sk, your comment regarding dividends is still as silly today as it was the other day. By that logic TUI holders have even less incentive to hold on to their shares.
Failing company. DO NOT BUY. Today was just a pump TOMORROW THE DUMP
I warned everyone not to get spiked. This would have happened to most today who were listening to the rampers with their drivel.
Buy EZJ on the dips is all I can say and sell on the peaks. Its as simple as that really.
I prefer to buy and hold and a nice dip like this one presents a great buying opportunity.
Especially as we now also have a divi to look forward to.
I did warn everyone of getting spiked earlier.
No doubt many lost when it dropped from 85% back to 50% and this will likely drift in the coming days and weeks.
DONT GET SPIKED !!!
Airlines will just pass higher costs on to customers, who will still fly, believe me.
Only the poorest are seriously hit by the so-called cost of living crisis, which is still not evident on the high street, in shops, in airports, in hotels. Could well be that Nutmeg and smiffy have been hit hard by the crisis, but I dont know anyone else seriously suffering.
That sound good!
SK,
Dividends are cash rewards, retained earnings boost the SP. Its left pocket right pocket in many cases.
See US stocks. They offer minimal dividends, but much better growth because they are able to retain earnings (better balance sheet), reduce debt (ditto), re-invest (future growth and innovation), buy back shares etc.
You seem to be placing far too high a value on big dividends. Depends how old you are I suppose.
