Wow wow, the relentless fall of the sp here continues, and the pain is not over, far from it. SSPG cannot reduce costs regardless of trading volume, making them even more exposed than airlines. Airlines can at least raise prices to cover higher costs. That will result in lower volume through airport, hitting SSPG hard. Less volume, and passenger just having paid for more expensive air fares will leave less appetite for spending in shops.

A perfect storm for SSPG, and not a good one.

Took a first tranche at 37p. Dry powder left if it drops further. Will top slice again if it runs towards 70p. Happy to sit on it for years if necessary, should it turn into another GGP.

With air traffic coming to an inevitable slowdown, their biggest cost which is fuel will also reduce. Can SSPG do likewise? No. Ground rents and leases continue regardless, but without revenue coming in, this will bite heavily into what little profits SSPG was making.

A lot of pain ahead for those who choose to stay invested in this....
