I never mention other shares in this forum because it seems bad form, I just thought this would be a good example that miracles can happen. Agreed, that other share has been a lossmaker for me, big time. But I remain optimistic both there and here. And if it all goes wrong, it was no one's fault but mine. My managed funds are more consistent than my personal efforts, but we all need a little gamble now and then!
And how would that benefit me or that share? I'm an investor, not a board warrior, and I post only when I have something relevant* to say.
(Not *reverent...)
Yes I've been in there for several years, and their board seems a rather gentlemanly bunch.
It makes me question the morals of SOU's (past and current) board...
(again).
It would be good if what's happening to GEO in the last few minutes, happens to SOU.
Thank you. Some reassurance there.
Partridge, thanks for doing that.
Do you know what happens to the option price in the event of a share consolidation?
I'm not an accountant, but if he is taxed in the UK, his tax rate plus NI could amount to around 50%, and to pay that he'll have to sell almost 3 million of those shares.
Suppose they did a 100:1 consolidation. Then buying at 70p would be cheap...
>>>and the (ex)CEO is Vlad the Impaler.
Except the (still current) CEO has a strong hand on the tiller.
@Trellis Big :)
Trellis, please please write a book telling us all how you manage to attract all these wannabes who want to spend their lives with you. Oh yes.
(Then we'll know how to avoid such a fate !!!) :)
@Trellis
>>>JP- who knows if he is still CEO or a Consultant or both
He still shows as a Director at Co's Hse. Not that that helps much.
Or was he GIVEN the 1.25 million shares?
A leopard doesn’t change its spots, Mike...
From RMG, JP's new home:
"it is expected that James Parsons will join the Board following the general meeting currently scheduled for 23 December 2019. It is expected, he will apply his expertise in natural resources, fundraising and project development both to our existing portfolio of projects and any potential new projects to be introduced."
Good luck with that.
That's a very insightful post for those who haven't yet connected the dots.
No apology needed, but you missed the point... execute? LOL
@imire
Female Execute of the year ???
