MMGames... "SOU were in 23 interested party discussions before"
Remember who told us that...
I'm happy with today's rise. Steadily getting to where we all want it.
Also had a good day with Motif Bio - up almost 400%!
(I'm not a ramper of any kind - just thought people might be interested...)
Have a great weekend (at home) everyone.
Old news. No longer valid.
@greenhighlander
In the USA, the govt can use a patent themselves without challenge, but they must provide "reasonable" compensation to the IP holder. Of course their idea of reasonable isn't necessarily what most businesses would envisage. Might be the same here.
@skittish Apologies, I misread the release.
@skittish It doesn't say it's validated. It says:
Dr Veronica Fowler and her colleague, Dr Bryony Armson, have been working in their spare time to validate the assay.
That doesn't mean it's actually validated.
China develops virus in Wuhan, releases it into the local market, it spreads worldwide and cripples the Western economies. Then China magically gets over the virus (perhaps they developed the antidote at the same time as the virus), and rapidly ramps up its industrial production (including PPE) before the West can even get out of bed, and the West spends billions more with China.
End result: China's economy flourishes, the West collapses and has to import even more from China.
If I ran China and wanted to bring the West to its knees, that's what I'd do.
China 1. West 0.
Maybe Boris has been instructed by his Masters that he must do all he can to reduce the ageing population of the country because they are living too long and draining the economy.
They also wear jackets when it's not cold, they insist on having a wired landline, they go on all day about the weather, and they fumble in their pockets for ages trying to pay for things with the exact change. :)
But Boris will be old too, one day...
And I bet there wasn't a speck of dust left on him!
Great Sky interview.
But when he said re Novacyt "I don't know that company". HE SHOULD - IT'S HIS JOB TO!
Hell...
I bet Peston is!
My thoughts exactly Bob. This calls for a new type of leadership where people come first.
Perhaps the atmosphere is already starting to change with all the "check on a friend" stuff nowadays. I hope so.
Running the country is far too important to be left to politicians.
When it's all over and the dust has settled, you can bet your life that someone will fully investigate what happened and will write a book about all the failings. The Tories will be lucky to get another term after that.
Agreed ds.
I don't want to over-dramatise but this is a war, and at such times the govt should take all views on board, whether they like them or not. This is no time for them to complain to teacher that someone called them a name.
Agreed. But if the Govt starts playing silly point-scoring games when people are dying, they certainly don't deserve to be in power. Take a look at New Zealand, where it's all about looking after the people. Massive contrast with Gove.
You won't SELL anything to Zim - they have no money. You'd have to give them to them.
Even the most altruistic manufacturer has to cover his costs, so that won't happen.
Mickey... >>> Not long until dilution time I wouldn't have thought.
That's a double negative, which means you are NOT expecting dilution.
...you're... :)
...would HAVE thought it. :)
As an aside, ask any paramedic is they feel they have proper protection.
The answer will be NO.
