Sounds like you are thinking retail. The shorters borrowed and likely sold those shares some time ago. The best result for them is they never have to return the borrowed shares.

I'm no Trump fan either but I don't think you can blame the need for QE4 soley on him. He just wants it now so he looks good.. then it will be QE5-6-7 etc. Anyone got any views on the Gold backed Petro-Yuan ? Looks like there is now a split between USA and China-Russia-Saudi-Iran-Venezuela-Mexico possibly Europe soon so why continue with the Petro Dollar when there is an alternative ?
