Breakeven at $45 is more or less what I stated to that guy who thought it was $52 a barrel due to slide 17 on the last results presentation.

MBS has asked Al-Falih to meet with Novak, apparently the Saudi energy minister ABS ( MBS's Brother ) has a very short temper and would not negotiate with Russia.
Shale is predicted to drop 2 million barrels a day of production at these low prices.

Al-Falih has always gotten along with Novak. He was the person to convince Russia to work with OPEC+ .

They might announce they have been in discussions with interested parties etc etc
A predatory offer could come in as the results are released because the bidder would want to see the numbers before offering and without making a formal approach which would raise the shareprice.

It wasn't meant as a snipe at you, so sorry if you took it that way. It makes me suspicious when we have a number of non stop negative posts on here from a number of posters. Both you and I are projecting what we think might happen. What I don't understand is if you have resigned yourself to hold as the value of your 0.36% holding is not enough to sell, why not at least hope for the best until proven otherwise.
I genuinely wish you all the best, most on here are massively down and I will make no excuses for Moody and co.
Probably best for you to switch off from the screens for a bit if you are not going to be buying or selling. Maybe talk to someone if you can for your state of mind. Should be a very different picture here in a few months.

Kind of proves my point £40m buys the company, Approx £20m back from cash plus $20m or more means the 2p reserves oil and carry is almost free. If they don't get the financing the rest of Sealion could be available from Premier at firesale prices.

It sounds a lot like the Ombrina Mare case is likely to be won its just a matter of the award. It cold be anything up to the claimed $275m Euros plus interest.
Not really huge wage bills as the employees here don't do anything so wages can be frozen ( of course they won't be ) but they could and it would not affect the company. Its a good job we are not selling oil at these prices !

With market cap today at £25m £40 million would get someone a big chunk of Sealion plus £20m cash back and a possible £30m + cash from Obmrina Mare.

This has to be the worst BB on LSE for you to ask that genuine question. Obviously with Friday and Saturdays events the risk here has increased by some margin, although temporary this lower Brent price could rumble on for sometime.

Its much closer to 7p and was never down to 6p flat so actually not a FACT.

Apparently the OPEC+ meeting is still going to take place, but now its lunchtime in Vienna.
It could be a power play by Russia as usual OR it could be they have a new anti shale strategy and know even an extra cut will not get back to $60 to $70 Brent right now.
