I don't disagree at all with your sentiment but the thing is nothing comes close to the energy density of Oil. It will be here for some time to come although emphasis will of course be put on renewables, clean energy. There will never be electric passenger planes ( although I do know that RR have an experimental electric jet division, but that could just be for an additional engine for quiet night time landings / emissions targets etc and no doubt some government grants ala Elon Musk.

Its quite clear it would now suit Premier and Navitas to kick the can down the road as long as possible, all the while saddling Rockhopper with more debt at 12% pa compound. With PMO and Navitas being the creditors they would then have more control over Rockhopper potentially leading to full control.

I don't think we are going to see Brent much above $50 for quite some time, but I will grant you in 2-5 years we could see a big Brent spike above the $86 it reached last time.

The masks have to be approved by NICE or some such body before they can be used by NHS or similar. I think you can still get N95 face masks which would be better than home made.

The limit order shorter thing is a myth, your broker will have enough stock to lend your shares out if they wish regardless of a limit order and will take the risk if they like.

I was told by a pharma chap that the reason the same drugs cost many times more for the NHS is because they are from an approved manufacturer with all the clinical doseage testing and raw material traceablilty, whch obviously all costs a lot. I'm not saying I agree with that answer but I believe it is true.

Sorry but I don't even see the SP here falling to 2-4p so no way a takeover of that amount would fly. You can add a zero to you're 2-4p and its still legalized theft ! The assets exist and oil isn't goin anywhere. Whos going to be building/ buying/ selling EVs now with Brent at $29.5 ?

No that wasn't what I had in mind. For all we know they might be buying up the bonds now at a discount. If they did that they would also need to by stock in order to buy votes, or they could just make a really cheap offer on the equity.
just my thoughts. Or we could be back well over £1 in a years time.

Unlilkely Tullow will be going bust just yet. The value of the Equity could go anywhere however and I mean anywhere.
I think its likely Private Equity will snap this up for a bargain price.

An interesting point that was made is that Saudi had to drop the price of their oil cargos as the oil price had dropped so much from the agreed price when the cargo was shipped approx $10 higher than spot so the buyer would be taking a big hit if they went through with the agreed purchase at agreed price.
