Its a vicious self perpetuating circle the way I see it. A guy I heard speaking the other day has a construction company, he was paying £10 an hour for labourers now hes paying £14 an hour.

In my humble opinion the mrna jab is absolutely fine. If you have been offered that one and haven't taken it why not what are you afraid of ?

Strange thing is on Euroclear the stock on loan for Metrobank is less than just Odeys short at something like 1.8%. This could mean the shortracker is incorrect or he has most of it covered with a holding perhaps somewhere else like he did with Debenhams.
I actually saw him the other day riding a bike past the Chelsea flower show.

On euroclear was up to 3.93% at end Oct from 3.39% end Sept but still lower than the 4.04% at end Aug 21. So there has been a bit more stock lending this last month, possibly to match a long Gold position I noticed the CFTC still has a lot of long gold posistions.

The oil price really needed the pullback. I'm convinced they will take it up to $90 soon

The point I was attempting to make was about greenwashing and net zero washing. Its all B.S. the narative is that we need to consume our way out of destroying the planet.
Buy more electric cars travel on electric planes and UPS and Amazon deliver by Electric Vehicles so its ok.

I would have thought Queenie has plenty invested in Oil though her investment funds.
Its interesting no one is talking about divesting from fashion companies or consumer goods companies with all the single use plastic they churn out, or water companies who pollute the rivers with sewage.

I should add its quite possible that oil investors might be jittery in the run up to COP26 just incase anything big is announced. But as Putin and Xi are not there I don't see how that could happen.

Could be worse TLW is down 8.4% over the last month and ENQ is up 2.3%
I also hold Petrofac but lets not go there today.

The U/T yesterday showing on London Stock Exchange was 142p the open today was 141.6p.
I hear what your saying but the market makers didn't change the price today from yesterdays close to reflect any change for ex entitlement today.

My initial thoughts are the underwriters will want to squeeze an extra few percentage points out of the shorters the price right now could be showing us this. In other words the underwriters are happy to sell their 115p shares for 130p
Because of the high stock on loan figure I doubt they will accept much less than this and could want more when the rest of the orders come in.

I think you are wrong mate. If any buys yesterday still had the 115p entitlement and today being the 27th ( ex entitlement date ) don't then we would have opened down a minimum of 19% to reflect the dilution and loss of rights. We didn't so I don't really care what Hargreaves or Barclays have said the market said with over £80million quid that 6pm on the 25th is when you needed to hold shares.

There a re very few who would have been happy putting a six figure sum of their own money in to BTC ( unless fabulously rich already ) But no doubt many around the world who would be happy with some quite large sums in Gold.

They will likely be hedging the bonds with a short equity position no ? So if they knew we were due a rise might be best to sell the bonds/ close the short and wait for re-entry. Hence bond price down.

My neighbour sold his DB6 for what he thought was a good price, some years ago after 25 years plus of ownership. Its value is probably knocking on 10 times what he got for it now. Rather hard to predict these things, I have come to the conclusion that valuations are completely made up. Got a pal with a rare 911 RS which he could probably sell for 10 times his purchase price.
