The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
For the record, I hold Tern. I'm happy to let it grow organically though.
You say that KS is rated 2nd on msft... Despite the fact that you have clearly offered a link to the search results for a very niche section of apps, namely healthcare IoT, and despite the fact KS still has zero user reviews. You are a disingenuous pump and dump merchant and anybody that doubts this need look no further than the advfn boards for Tern.
Personally, I sold out the morning of the RNS. My rationale was that I was willing to forsake the penny underneath the offer price that I received in order to realise my substantial profit (albeit on a modest holding) and top up some other holdings that I believe are due positive news. Incidentally, I have held PHD, which is a company going through a bid situation, although no formal offer has been made public. This has been a process of a few months, so this has possibly influenced my decision to realise profit here as soon as available. However, it may well transpire that a second offer is forthcoming, and a greater price becomes available for anyone still holding. In that case, I would have sold too early, but as I have a business in Barbados that is aimed at tourists, I would welcome the further reassurance of confidence in the industry. No advice intended, and good luck to anyone holding
I would suggest it doesn't need to convert to sales. Not directly at least. If this Keyscaler product is the solution to scaling IoT, all it has to do is secure the products of the blue chips. Their sales will make it valuable, and inevitably result in a high value exit for Tern. A look at the big names already on board should suggest if this is a likely scenario.
I suppose nothing in terms of figures is necessarily going to be made public imminently, unless a full or partial sale of an investee company is announced. The webinar does seem to have confirmed the ability of Keyscaler as a product to launch Device Authority into the big time, and wirh Tern owning 56% of DA it would seem a rerate could well be imminent aimho nai dyor
With the bid closing at 10p, it could well act as a support level. Although with imminent drilling at Mako it may be on the up from here over the next fortnight.
They're dropping miniscule amounts, leading me to wonder if they're trying to scare out weak holders and scoop up a bunch at a lower price?
Yes I think it is positive to see JLP acknowledge that will team up for enhanced earnings. With CB bridging the gap between respective bod's, it can surely be considered as derisking, even if it isn't guaranteed quite yet.
I think Newboy has got to the crux of the matter; the algorithm is not fit for purpose. I actually quite like the concept to an extent, but I had a look at a couple of other shares I'm in and saw a hard deramper listed among the rampers, and also saw myself included LOL. I would like to think I'm fair but I suppose it's not my opinion that counts on that front.
Yes it struck me as a smart bit of manipulation too. Anything to convince the wobbly-kneed PI to close out and move along.
I am guessing it's a short rolling over.

Volume has been high lately, I just hope we can see some sustained interest as the public become more informed on the solutions rather than just the problems. More voices means more lobbying power to pressure government into action, and its only ever going to be the private sector that solves anything, but gov backing would be a game changer for phe.
