Reads like picking up old licences of mature oil fields ( ACQUIRING THE RIGHTS ) ripe for C02 EOR / sequestration.

Could be something else entirely but it fits.

I did think PRDs C02 hands were now completely full with the newly announced Massey JV and the humorously abbreviated LOL.

EDIT: maybe even something a little further afield - or OUTSIDE T n T - or a mould breaking pure C02 sequestration play?

The Incoming switch to Aim may coincide with the recently bb discussed name change to better reflect the energy transition / green element of the stock.

Cut your cloth to suit. If PG sticks his original plan and disposes of all assets within the short term (say next 12/18 months). I see no need for a change. In this scenario the SP is mainly irrelevant - outside capital raises - as value will out via disposal dividends. However, if PRD are now playing longer term, and there is clear evidence of appetite ( FSRU Ireland / tender in Morocco / talking green energy opps etc ) a green name reflecting what we actually do is vastly more appealing / maybe soon VITAL to a forward thinking investment community ( eg just look at TOTAL last week morphing brilliantly into TOTAL ENERGIES ). At a stroke, one word “Energies” completely changed their perception. Future proofed it. For the better. Cometh soon the day when oil and gas in your name gets you pelted with eggs.

PRD are a responsible green aware company in everything but name. If we’re hanging around for the longer term; CHANGE IT.
